The property has been recently renovated, painted and has been decorated in the traditional Portuguese styl offering enough comfort to spend an unforgettable vacation or a long term stay. Ideal for one or two personnes who wants to explore the Portuguese cultuur and the wonderful nature of the Algarve of for someone who works remotely.

This property is a family own house, located in Casais, a little village in a quite area nearby Monchique. The area is very well known as the garden of the Algarve.
It has one bedroom on the first floor with a balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the hills and the coastline of the Algarve. The bathroom has a shower/bath a bidet and it is quite spaceous. The livingroom has a fireplace which makes the house very cosy in the winter time. In the living there is a sofabed for two persons giving the house enough accommodation for four persons . The kitchen is quite large with a marble countertop and has enough equipment for a comfortable stay.
In Casais there is a public pool which is free, just 5 minutes walking from the house and is only available in the summer months.
The central location of the property makes it easier to visit lovely villages around the Algarve, such as Silves, Alvor, Lagos, Aljezur and of course several beaches and golfcours.
Hiking and cycling is very recommended in this green and wonderful area of the Algarve. For those who love Golf, in just about 20 minutes driving you have the Golfcourse of Penina and the Golfcouse of Morgado.

We do provide linnen and beach towels enough for four persons.
Wifi and parking is free.

If you’re looking for a long term rental or for a short stay, this is probably a good choise if you like to enjoy the locals, the wonderful nature and the fantastic weather of the Algarve.

Logement à fuir

Logement qui sent très fort le renfermé (les fenêtres sont très anciennes, donc la possibilité pour les ouvrir est assez compliqué, c'est pourquoi le logement sent à ce point). Sur l'annonce, il était indiqué que nous pouvions utiliser la plaque de cuisson. Or, la plaque ne fonctionnait pas du tout (message de la propriétaire quelques heures après notre arrivée). Dans ce cas-là, c'est à la propriétaire de vérifier si les plaques fonctionnent avant que les voyageurs n'arrivent. Le lit est extrêmement inconfortable, planche de bois qui fait office de sommier et matelas très dur. Nous ne pouvions pas dormir sur ce lit, c'est pourquoi nous dormions sur le canapé-lit. Pas de lumière dans la salle de bain. Des fourmis qui sortaient des plinthes de la chambres et du chez-de-chaussée. En résumé, le séjour dans ce logement était vraiment horrible. Si vous êtes intéressés par cette annonce, passez votre chemin.

mold odor, and very bad bed. after leaving the windows open the moldy odor still persisted and we left after 2 nights instead of the 9 nights we were supposed to stay. the village was very welcoming.

Nettes Apartment mit kleinen Besonderheiten

Das Apartment liegt schön mitten im Ort, es ist im Prinzip gut ausgestattet. Etwas irritierend war der Check-in Vorgang, der Code vom Schlüsselsafe hat nicht gestimmt und wir standen erst Mal eine Weile vor verschlossenen Türen. Dann wiederholte sich das Spiel mit dem Code beim Wifi, aber alle Probleme konnten mit freundlicher Unterstützung der Vermieterin behoben werden. Kochen ging nicht, die Vermieterin hat dem Gasherd leider das Gas abgedreht. Die Möbel sind alt und müffeln leicht. Aber wir hatten eine gute Zeit und durch die schöne Lage in grandioser Umgebung einen Besuch wert.
