A traditional property in a very small village, so a car is essential but a good base for visiting Monchique (about 15 mins) and the west/south coast (both about 30 mins). It was very hot when we stayed but the house always remained cool. There is a municipal pool in the village which looked very tempting but only open from July to Sept so we didn't get to try it. House was clean & well equipped, easy parking. Good communication with our host.
