The property is in a quiet locale, just steps away from a vigneron with delicious wine, delightful hosts- everything we could ask for in a vacation rental and that calls us to return in the future.
Nice property overlooking vineyards with Ventoux in the distance. Three bedrooms up quite steep stairs. Some sleeping space and a shower downstairs. Nice kitchen space and table inside. Space to eat and barbecue outside. Area round pool great for relaxing.
VRBO needs a new rating scale. 10/10 isn't enough to say how much we loved this gite. How about 10 points for the cottage and 10 points for Christelle and we'll say it's 20/10. The cottage is a dream-like, two-level stone house that perfectly mixes a feeling of the antique with a modern kitchen and bathroom. And the beautiful interior is surpassed by a grapevine-covered patio with space for ten to eat outdoors, and a fantastic pool for hot summer Provence days. Christelle is such an amazing hostess. You feel like a guest in her home and she is so warm and welcoming. She was so kind when we arrived late coming down from Paris, and was there to help whenever we needed it.
The house in the middle of the vineyards (the first good wine shop is next door) is large, spacious, renovated, in the Provençal style, with a swimming pool. The only inconvenience was that we had very rainy weather, unusual for Provence. The location is good for exploring Provence. Christelle was very kind, she welcomed us with freshly baked bread. We definitely recommend it.
Everything was really good, clean, and we let ourselves in to the, I do think they should be a welcome letter, as we stayed in in the winter, the heating was on, there is a fire in the kitchen, but no wood, you have to ask for it so if this information is is on a welcome letter you know but beside that everything was just perfect, we will defo be staying there again

Disappointed
Not suitable for pets, no enclosed space for pets to play safely or carry out toiletry needs. Gite is attached to owners property who has two large boxer dogs who constantly bark in their open yard. so as soon as you make a movement they bark. No divider to the two properties so obviously any pet is wanting to say hello to another dog so can easy roam over to owners area but we were told our dog had to stay on patio at all times. Our patio led onto a car park with owners visitors or family coming through gates to car park and several times left gates open, when we were told to close and lock at all times. Our dog nearly escaped.
Electric tripped most days.
Bats in loft area which we could hear most nights and from first night we arrived up until we left was covered in bites even though it was air conditioned, had plug-ins, spray and cream.
The owner did not call in to check everything okay throughout our stay or not to say goodbye, keys was left in letterbox.
Did not have a little welcome gift when we arrived which would have been nice as we had arrived late since we could not find the place, no shops nearby but she did go and fetch some butter and 4 very small pieces of frozen bread for us !
The pool area was not as clean as shown on the website. Sun loungers need to be replaced, bolt fittings kept on coming out and collapsed on me several times. Another wooden deck chair also broke and I fell and hurt my bum/back this I did relay by text to owners.

We are a family of 5: our names are Pascal and Christelle and we are 45 years old with 3 children. Their names are Julie (17), Benjamin (15), and Marine (12). We also have many pets for the kids: chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and cats.
Why they chose this property
We have renovated a large part of the building, and the rentals allow us continue renovating. We are very excited to be bringing this large Provencal farmhouse back to life.
What makes this property unique
The Palus hamlet where we live is very peaceful and there is very little car traffic. The nights are quiet and during the day we can go for walks or bike rides without anything to bother us. We are surrounded by vineyards and nature. Downtown is 2 km away. Our town and the surrounding towns are full of history. Remnants of the past are abundant: wash houses, fountains, chapels and oppidums, ancient castles, stone houses...
