About this property
Relaxing ~ Fishing ~ Boating ~ Hunting ~ What More Is Needed?
The house has central air along with a forced air furnace. We have 2 bedrooms complete with queen size beds. A large dining room to easily accommodate a large family gathering or just a small party. Newly remodeled kitchen complete with appliances and cookware/silverware. Bathroom with large walkin shower, complete with towels. Living room has a hide-a-bed queen size couch, love seat, recliner and TV with DVD player, with access to local channels. An outside fireplace to enjoy smores with your family or just enjoy the piece and quiet of the night. Free WiFi and Cable TV
Guest Access
House is located within 2 blocks of Harlan County Reservoir. Methodist cove is 2 miles from our house where you can launch your boat for fishing or recreational boating. Harlan County is also home to excellent pheasant, quail, dove, duck, goose and turkey hunting, along with whitetail and mule deer hunting. Over 17,000 acres of public access. The lake is the 2nd largest in the state of Nebraska. During the winter months, hundreds of Bald Eagles stop over at the lake on their annual migration. During the spring migration the lake is a stopping for thousands of ducks, Canadian and Snow geese, as well as pelicans.
Interaction with Guests
Our house is your house. We only ask that there are no smoking or pets allowed in the house, otherwise you won't ever see us.
The Neighborhood
The local movie theater is 2 blocks down the street where you can watch a movie on the weekends, or walk another block and you're at the local downtown business, which include a grocery store, restaurant's, bars, or even places to get a fishing pole. Maybe you just want to walk a block south to the 2 1/2 mile concrete walking trail to enjoy the birds or other wildlife following along the shore of Harlan County Lake.
Other Things to Note
We do require a 2 night minimum, this due to it being difficult to rent 1 night and then trying to fill the other night on weekends. We welcome hunters, fisherman, or just family vacationers.

Comfy and clean
Stayed for a couple of nights during a family gathering at the lake. Easy to locate and good neighborhood. Clean and comfortable with plenty of room inside and parking outside. Beds were comfortable, pull-out couch left a little too be desired, but it worked for the teenager.

Everything was great. except the coffee there was not any K-cups . we are used to having that and then coffee that was there sucked . Go buy some coffee, we paid enough to have quality coffee. I went to Dollar General and bought some and took it with me when we left. Other than that it was an OK place. Thanks Bob
