About this property
BRYN EIRA TACK ROOM, pet friendly in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll
Part of an L shaped courtyard, the tack room in Llanfair
PG is well located to explore both mountains and sea.
Bryn Eira is an L-shaped courtyard with The Tack Room taking up the east flank. This lovely holiday cottage is surrounded by tranquil fields on the outskirts of the famous village of Llanfairpwll on the south eastern corner of Anglesey. A short drive across the Britannia bridge into Snowdonia or a hop and a skip to the East or West coast of Anglesey with endless beaches and a roll down to Menai Bridge or Beaumaris with brilliant restaurants and pubs you are never far from the action.
Lovely open plan living/dining/kitchen. The kitchen has an electric oven/hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. The round dining table seats up to four people.
Comfortable sofas, TV.
Two bedrooms - Master ensuite bedroom with king size bed (the ensuit has shower, loo and wash hand basin). Twin bedroom.
The large bathroom has a shower, basin, loo and towel rail.
Small enclosed courtyard to the rear and allocated parking for two cars to the front.
If there are more than 4 in your party you can also rent out The Stables, which sleeps 10, on the western side of the courtyard.
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (Llanfair PG to the locals!) is ideally situated for exploring the beaches, walks and attractions of Anglesey and Snowdonia. The village itself has three pubs, a bakery, Co-Op, garage and is two minutes from the A55.
Amenities: Electric oven/hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. TV and DVD player. Towels and Linen incl. Wifi. 1 dog welcome. Off road parking for 2 cars only. Travel cot, high chair. Small courtyard. Pub and shop less than 1 mile. Please note there are two steps down to reach the outside patio at the back of the property. Note: the courtyard development has another larger holiday cottage The Stables. Please do not use property's electric to charge EV's.
Town: Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.
