This place is really nice and even better than the photos. We had a really nice stay, the cottage is quiet and cosy and the location is rural and beautiful.

The moment we arrived Kerry was extremely accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed. She even gave me a bottle of Prosecco when she found out it was my birthday, along with suggestions of what to do. We visited castles and hiked Snowden it was an amazing experience

Thank you for your lovely review - much appreciated.
We enjoyed our stay and wish we had stayed a couple of nights longer. This is a good location as it is only a short drive to a number of beautiful Wales sights.
We were quite comfortable here and enjoyed ‘normalizing’ our life a bit after being away from home for over a week. We were able to relax and catch our breath before heading out on the road again. Thanks for having us!

Lovely to meet you and hope to see you again one day - safe travels!
Excellent cottage in small courtyard. We wanted to be near Bangor which is only 10 mins away. Welcome pack was tasty, including fresh eggs, chocolates and Welsh cakes. Even the doggie had towel and treats ready!! Bed comfortable and shower nice and hot. Would stay again!

You would be more than welcome to come back again!
My family and I moved to this beautiful part of North Wales in 2021 following family connections and childhood holidays! We enjoy exploring this beautiful area with our rescue pooch, Ollie. We aim to provide the type of holiday accommodation that we would want for ourselves - welcoming, cosy & relaxing and spotlessly clean. We live in the farmhouse close by (which was also the Old Watermill) so we are on hand if we are needed, but aim to leave you in peace to enjoy your holiday.
Why they chose this property
We spotted this beautiful old farmhouse and adjoining barn conversions whilst here on holiday a couple of years ago - so we returned to Cornwall, sold everything we owned, persuaded Kerry's mum to do the same - and here we all are! Kerry's dad was originally from this area so this was also a deciding factor. He would have loved it!
What makes this property unique
Felin Uchaf translates as 'Upper Mill' as this beautiful building used to be the old village mill. We still have the water wheel, the millpond and the stream.
Our future plans include renovating the old water wheel and bringing it back to its former glory. Maybe with some hydro electric power too but that may be just a little ambitious.
We are rural but with everything close by if its needed. Bangor, Llanberis and Caernarfon are only a ten minute car ride. A car is useful to take in all the sights.
So, if you want beautiful scenery, wonderful fresh air, unpolluted night skies, wildlife everywhere and the sound of the stream - this is the place to be!
We also have an EV charger and well behaved pets are very welcome too (there is a small additional charge for each pet.)
