We had a fantastic experience and Gordon and Caroline are wonderful hosts and I would recommend to stay here as it’s peaceful, is close to golf courses, wildlife places, historic monuments, many towns and cities of Dundee and Aberdeen.
Great hideaway with a lovely walk to to the River South Esk and saw Kingfishers and 2 together at once which I have never seen plus many other birds etc
Will be back again at some point 🙏
Beautiful location, the hosts were friendly and respectful..only issue was the noise that could be heard in apartment through floorboards. However scotland was not a disappointed and I will return.
I cant nothing wrong about the place , it was one of the best places I've stayed
They made me very welcome even the dogs
The place was very clean and tidy and very quiet, ive would recommend this to my family and friends
We had an incredible weekend here. Not only was the house well stocked (fresh eggs, shortbread etc. were left for us along with all the essentials) , it was clean, modern and very comfortable. The garden was beautiful - we spent the first day just relaxing there while three year old had the time of her life in the trampoline. The hosts were very friendly and happy to answer our many questions about everything from wild swimming to fruit picking.
Will hopefully make a return visit in the future.
The property was like a home from home with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Large TV, comfortable sofa, eating area, underfloor heating. Outdoor seating and table. Quiet, peaceful and felt like a home from home. A lovely touch was the fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs Caroline and Gordon left for us. Thank uou.
This was a return visit for us but this time with the added benefit of sunshine all week. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked our 3rd stay.
The perfect place to totally unwind. It has everything you need plus some little extras which was a lovely surprise. Caroline and Gordon made us feel so welcome, we will definitely be making a return visit.
We had a lovely time while here, we enjoy shopping, walking and cycling. Was a lovely break and in a rural location which is just what we wanted! The cottage was lovely!
When we arrived we were asked to park at the bottom of the hill, when we asked if we could unload at the gate of the cottage we were told no, we were told her husband would help but he didn't it was a trail my husband is on two sticks.Going to the bathroom there was no plastic mat for the bath even though the shower was above the bath. Bedroom the clothes hanger was one of these shop open hangers, two very small bed side drawers, so our clothes were open to the dust and it looked untidy all the time.Kitchen all the cupboards were full of things we had no place to put our food there was food left on the worktop. Hall 1 shelf full of books we put things on the steps to nowhere.the lounge was OK but they knew there was three of us, and unless you ate outside ( the weather wasn't suitable) There was a l table for two so we couldn't eat together. after that we still enjoyed ourselves the area was good we laughed at most of it , and parked at the gate to the cottage( how naughty were we) to load up,there was no reason why not I was asked to strip the beds and put the cloths in the machine I didn't do it

Very sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. Just to recap, I told you that you were welcome to park at the gate to unload or my husband could help you. He offered and your husband said “no, I will manage”. I did explain that the road is a through road for our neighbour and we cannot block it in any way. I do not provide a plastic bath mat as I think they are unhygienic, especially during a pandemic! The steps to nowhere actually lead to our own house, just for your information. As I state very clearly in our welcome book I do not usually ask guests to strip the beds but due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak we feel that’s the safest method to keep our family safe, all of our guests have been 100% understanding of this and realise the seriousness of the situation. We also did not appreciate the load music at 6am, the constant shouting and arguing and the mess and smell you left.
Very clean and tidy and all that you need and more excellent facilities and great touches and great location for trips to surrounding areas

Thanks guys, it was great to meet you, so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! Thank you for your lovely comments in our visitor book and for the gifts.
Very comfortable stay with property well appointed. Parking and access a little difficult and conflicting information as to entry and exit times.
Overall well recommended.
