Lovely place to stay. Double bed was slightly uncomfortable as we seemed to roll out but a new double mattress arrived on our departure day. Great location. Would definitely consider going back.

An excellent base to live from as this is a well kept cottage in a good situation, ideal for those getaway holidays to relax but within easy reach of all of the island. We had a brilliant holiday here and would definitely book here again if we were to come back (ferry costs are too high). The picture of the second bedroom makes it look smaller than it actually is so don't worry if you have three teenagers. There were five of us and no worries. The area is very peaceful and the harbour is just a short walk away. Local supermarkets are also within a couple of miles. Had a great time and would recommend the cottage to everyone going to the Isle of Wight.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location, but felt a couple of things needed attention.
Lovely cottage in beautiful location, but felt a couple of things needed attention. Bathrooms need updating & shower was inadequate. There was a dip on the 2nd bedroom floor which we feel needs attention
Toilet seat needed tightening. Other than these our score would have been 10

Located very close to a boating marina, the cottage echoes this with its nautical-themed decor, which is tastefully done. There is an attractive ambience to the area created by many of the nearby properties being situated on the waterfront and having boats moored alongside, while High Tide is set in a terrace of similar properties with a footpath and a communal pond to the front and a small garden at the rear. There is ample car parking nearby. There are no shops but there is an all-day pub restaurant just a short walk away at Island Marina Harbour, which is open to the general public. The whole island can be explored easily from High Tide and this is one of its many benefits.
