The patio (with a privacy awning you can lower or raise according to your mood) extends to the vibrant local cultural hotspot—where locals gather for the beloved Provençal pastime of Petanque. This is not only a beachfront property; it's a veritable front-row experience of sea, culture and sun - but one with two private bedrooms featuring closing doors (no open-loft "bedrooms").
• Ground floor: Open-plan air-conditioned living, dining, and kitchen opening to a patio with privacy awning (on the pétanque court).
• Upstairs: Two serenely quiet and air-conditioned bedrooms plus a compact, smart bathroom (with washing machine).
• Fully functional kitchen to elevate your stay with stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee-grinding 10 bar expresso machine, and more)

• Nature on your doorstep: Frejus bay is of the Pelagos Marine Sanctuary with abundant sea life. Inland, the Esterel and Maures forests offer world-class hiking, cycling, and wildlife spotting.

-SHEETS AND TOWELS-
France has a norm of renting long stay houses WITHOUT sheets and towels. As this is a remote holiday house (We live in another country) we decided to adopt that norm and have our agent provide you with sheet/towel rental. You will will need to confirm whether you need them at least 10 days before the rental to the agent. If you instead decide to use the emergency backup sheets (which we keep in case of the agency being sold out of rental sheets) that are kept in the apartment's rear bedroom, *we will need to increase your cleaning fee to cover cleaning costs*. Please contact us if you have any doubts about this.
-BEACHFRONT LOCATION-
This is a 1st row beachfront building and Frejus plage and boules court is a bustling place during the summer. That's no surprise - it's *the* place to be: the sea's cooling waves are directly across from the apartment door, and the summer market is literally at your doorstep. The lights of the Pétanque (Jeu de boules) court in front of the apartment's patio turn off around midnight in the summer season, but with the darkening blinds and soundproof windows closed, you’d never know. Because no cars drive directly past this unit and no restaurants are below or in front of it, you'll get a much better night's rest than the ocean boulevard appartements. During the day you can lower the awning for some shade from the sun and privacy from the boules court, while the dual glazed windows to keep the house cool and quiet.
Because this is a first-row beachfront property, you will end up bringing sand in with you. You'd be surprised at how many comments we've received over the years from "sandy floors" so, we left a broom and a vacuum cleaner for you to be able to clear it out as you bring it in on your own feet. The better choice is to wash your feet properly before coming home... but we do try to be helpful. All the same, we cannot prevent salt/dust buildup on the windows (being a seafront property), we cannot prevent your feet bringing sand into the house, nor leaf and sand dust accumulation on the outdoor balcony. Luckily you have been equipped to deal with it yourselves!.
-CLEANING-
The cleaning fee is for the apartment cleaning. This fee does not include cleaning dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, food in the fridge, or such. It does not include cleaning of beach towels or linnen, which should be rented from the agency that receives you. It does not cover clearing out rubbish from the rooms or returning furniture to its original position. It does not cover exceptional messes. All these will incur an additional cleaning fee.
-EXIT CHECKLIST-
Our agents will come to help you check out and receive the key. There is a complementary printer to print out your boarding passes or train tickets in the lower corner cupboard of the kitchen bar (behind the table).
-PARKING-
YOUR CAR WILL BE FINED & TOWED AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE IF YOU PARK....
1) On the parking around the Jeu de Boules court and post office on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday mornings, for the local market. Be sure to have your car out of the Post office parking lot by each midnight before the market (so... remove your car Monday night, Thursday night and Saturday night)!
2) On the beach side boulevard parking, every night there is a souvenirs market in summer. Be sure not to leave your car there after 4 PM!

Why they chose this property
This well-equipped 2-floor townhouse offers a genuine 1st-row beachfront location, right where it's all happening. It is on a unique natural sand beach (most Cote d'Azur beaches are pebbles) inside the Pelagos marine sanctuary. The whole house is airconditioned with in-room Airco units: both of the 2 bedrooms; and the living space. Open the building's front door and you are directly on the ocean boulevard, 20m from the sand and waves, surrounded by restaurants, night markets, and morning-till-evening entertainment. Save yourself the hassle of driving and parking to the beach this year - and stay right where the action is!
What makes this property unique
The property's front door opens directly onto the beachfront promenade, surrounded by ample restaurants; while the apartment is tucked around the corner and quieter at night once the boules court lights go off, giving you a good night's sleep. The apartment itself is well equipped: upstairs has 2 separate bedrooms each with air conditioning, plus a bathroom with a clothes washer. Downstairs also has air conditioning, a 43" TV, oven and stove, dishwasher, coffee machines, sonos system, etc etc. Of course, it has a 400mbps internet connection and secure indoor bike hooks for avid sporting types. If people-watching is your thing, sit out on the cute patio with its table, sip wine and watch the locals play petanque! Staying in this property, you will get all of the beachfront action, but with ample space - and sleep in real bedrooms. (Although, if you want to have someone visit, the living room has an actual bed-mattress convertible couch that sleeps 2)
