Stunning 19th century barn conversion in gorgeous Hampshire countryside
We live on a stud farm just five miles from Winchester. We’ve just finished this barn conversion that dates back to the late 1800’s. It’s absolutely stunning and the decor is peaceful and subtly gorgeous. There are horses grazing in the fields around, walks, bridleways and cycling directly from the gates. You can even ride or have a polo lesson while you stay! We can also offer a catered stay. There’s masses to do round here, and the lovely towns of Stockbridge and Alresford are close too. The space is absolutely lovely. There’s a big open place living area, and two gorgeous bedrooms. One has a king size bed and an en-suite, and the upstairs bedroom has the option of a super king or two twin beds. It has a shower room under the stairs. There is also a log burner, a smart TV and wifi The kitchen is well equipped with a freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Outside, there’s a huge terrace, a dedicated lawn area and extensive seating. The outdoor table seats 10 comfortable, and there's a large seating area that seats at least 12. We also have a Kamado Joe BBQ and a fire pit You are free to explore the farm and the stables. We live here too (next door) and we have small children who will scamper past occasionally. You will have your own garden and there's a fabulous raised terrace with table, chairs and parasol.

We are a young family (children aged 1 & 3) and stayed here for 3 days while visiting family and friends in the area. Aurora and Matt were friendly and helpful. Our 3 year old loved running around in the huge space in the main room! The terrace is lovely and the photos don't do the view justice. The garden & lawn need to become established but once they are it will be even better.
We are thinking about coming back another time!

What makes this property unique
Where else can you stay in a building with oak trusses made from old 18th century navy frigates, with a view stretching 20 miles and yet with Winchester just five miles away?
