Stonewalls is a wonderful detached stone house which stands in West Street, a peaceful road only a short walk from the centre of the village.
It sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. It is well equipped to provide a delightful venue especially for larger parties. It has some beautiful parquet wood floors.
You enter by the side door into a bright, well equipped kitchen.
Through the kitchen, up three steps, is a superb, spacious, twin bedroom and next to the bedroom is a shower room with shower, basin and W.C.
A door from the kitchen leads into a traditionally furnished, dining room, with a coal-effect gas fire. Doors from the dining room lead to a comfortable sitting room, again with coal-effect gas fire, TV and DVD player; beyond is a conservatory overlooking the garden, with comfortable seating. Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with a basin; a pleasant bedroom with twin beds and a bedroom with child size bunk beds. There is a small shower room with shower, basin and W.C. The main bathroom, with bath and shower attachment, basin, and W.C. is at the bottom of the stairs.
Doors from the kitchen and conservatory lead onto the delightful garden, with patio and garden furniture.
Stonewalls is a lovely, well appointed property, situated in the quietest part of the village. It is close to the village square with its shops and pubs, the castle, the steam train and open countryside. Larger parties will find that they have plenty of space in both the house and garden.
