Sea view house in San Teodoro, seventy meters from the beach of Cala Girgolu

The house is located in the town of Cala Girgolu, where nature carves the granite, at the base of the promontory of Monte Petrosu, a hamlet of San Teodoro, from which it is 3 km away, we are in Gallura, in Northeast Sardinia. The area surrounding the house is entirely reserved for local residents, there are about fifty houses and villas. A large garden surrounds the house, which is about half of a villa, completely independent in all. The garden leads to a ground floor with a double bedroom and bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet, the outdoor shower is in a small closed space. On the first floor there is a large veranda with sea view and a wonderful terrace that projects the house on Cala Girgolu beach which is 60 meters away.

The house is furnished in a way that highlights the colors of the sea that surrounds it, is designed to be comfortably inhabited by six guests and is also a 15-minute walk from the wonderful Vacche beach and Turtle beach, two pristine pearls of Gallura from which can only be reached from the street where the house is located. The house is surrounded by a Mediterranean scrub garden on the back, close to the ground floor, in which there is an area where you can graze, the house is entirely fenced and has two parking spaces inside the house.

Cala Girgolu shines with the turquoise of the sea, with the light of the sand and, above all, with the famous Turtle rock - hence its 'second' name - attraction for visitors, especially the younger ones. It is one of the most photographed rocks not only in Gallura but throughout Sardinia, the result of the millennial erosion of the weather. Other rocks also characterize the cove: they are called 'tafonate', eroded by the quartz crystals of the granite which, crumbled, rotate swirling due to the wind.

The beach is a marvel of continuous surprises: ocher sand alternating with smooth pebbles. The seabed is low and sandy, ideal for enjoying a nice swim in peace and safety, even for children. There are all the services: parking, facilities for the disabled, camping, refreshment point, rental of umbrellas, sunbeds, canoes, pedal boats and rafts. Behind Cala Ghjlgolu the landscape is enriched by a small pond, habitat for various species of birds.

Along the nearby coast there are enchanting and connected coves, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and light granite rock. Small paths allow you to move from one to the other with the background of the marine area of Capo Coda Cavallo and the island of Tavolara, which stands like a mountain on the sea with bright colors.

Nearby, it is impossible to miss the beaches of San Teodoro: the thin and infinite tongue of golden sand of the Cinta, the white coast and the tropical waters of C ala Brandinchi and nearby Lu Impostu or the splendid s'Isuledda and the beach of Aldia Bianca.
