La Gomera visit.

The flat is in an excellent position, situated above Kuss restaurant (which does good food) and looking over the harbour and beach. The restaurant closed up by 10 and did not disturb us at all. It is mostly well equipped ( large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hotplate, kettle. There is a separate drying area behind the kitchen which is useful. The only equipment omissions we had were that there were no wine glasses( hardly disastrous) and no hair dryer. The bed was comfortable. The village is really pleasant. It has a landscaped promenade behind the beach, about 10 restaurants, around 3 supermarkets, a pharmacy, bank and a really good bakery, selling bread, european croissants, quiches, pizzas and various cakes, pastries and filled baguettes. There are many more French, German and Scandinavian visitors then English here and the restaurant and shop staff did not speak much English but we got by on our pigeon Spanish. Humberto was very pleasant and welcoming, making sure we had what we needed. We did have a 35 min delay in getting in. We have been to the village before and this seems to be typical - a lot of the landlords live on the cliffs and drive down to open up when you phone. Unfortunately, when I phoned I got an answerphone message in Spanish which I did not understand but we made contact by the app messenger eventually. Generally, I can recommend this flat and the village. It is worth a visit.

Excelente ubicación frente a la playa.

El apartamento es tal se describe en la web. La ubicación es perfecta frente a la playa, que es de piedras. Recomendable escarpines para bañarse. Lo único negativo es que hace mucho calor en el apartamento y no tiene ni aire acondicionado ni ventiladores. Por ello dormir en la habitación pequeña interior es complicado. Si a esto le sumamos que las ventanas por la noche siempre deben estar cerradas por las cucarachas que entran volando la cosa se complica aún más. Creo que con una mosquitera se soluciona el problema.

Appartement op top locatie

Volledig uitgerust appartement met uitzicht op zee, strand voor de deur. Restaurants, supermarkten zeer nabij. Ook een royale parkeerplaats achter het appartement. Mochten we nog een keer terugkomen dan zeker hier.
