In the heart of Périgord Noir, ideally located for all the holiday activities (important places of interest, sport activities), this house welcomes you (4 to 8 people) in a fenced park with trees and flowers (beautiful rose bushes collection), equipped with a heated pool. It also boasts a 45 sq.m exposed stone and beams living room with fireplace, an open-plan equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer), a TV, a barbecue, 4 bedrooms, of which one is on the ground floor (with two 80 cm beds), and the three other one with exposed beams are upstairs (one 140 cm bed, one 160 cm bed, and two 80 cm beds), 4 shower rooms of which 3 have hydromassage showers, and 4 WCs.
It has everything you need to revitalise in a green and peaceful setting.

Disappointing. The photos on Vrbo must have been taken a long time ago because they do not represent the current state of the property. The gite was not clean with dusty cobwebs everywhere. We had to clean the crockery, cutlery and glassware before we could use them. The pool was not cleaned once during our stay. The poolside furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. The garden was unkempt and overgrown and could not be enjoyed. It's a shame because this could be a great property but I think the owners have lost interest, we felt like we were an inconvenience to them.

Quelle déception de louer notre gîte à des hôtes qui n'aiment ni les jardins, ni la campagne. Le parc est régulièrement entretenu et par souci d'écologie, des zones d'herbes non coupées sont laissées pour préserver la faune et la flore. Le mobilier de piscine est en teck et non en plastique, toujours par souci d'écologie. De même, nous n'utilisons aucun pesticide dans le gîte, et en période de forte chaleur, il peut arriver que des araignées s'y réfugient. La piscine a été nettoyée 2 fois en 15 jours à des moments choisis pour ne pas déranger les hôtes. Des hôtes précédents nous disaient que les photos correspondaient parfaitement au gîte. Ces remarques nous paraissent donc inappropriées, d'autant plus que nous n'avons jamais, au départ des hôtes, retrouvé des toilettes aussi sales.

Propriétaire sympathique, compréhensif et pas du tout envahissant. L’annonce laisse penser que la piscine était juste à côté de l’hébergement. En fait l’était un petit peu isolée mais ce n’était pas du tout gênant. Par contre l’hébergement n’étaient pas très propre, nous avons dû relaver toute la vaisselle que nous avons utilisé et les tables de jardin L’équipement en cuisine est très disparate, fait un peu de bric et de broc et insuffisant. Par exemple pas de verre à vin le il manque un salon de jardin. C’est très dommage car l’endroit est très agréable très calme avec un très grand jardin. Beaucoup d’efforts ont été fait au niveau des chambres et de tous les sanitaires qui étaient d’excellente qualité et propres. La piscine et l’environnement de la piscine nécessiterait aussi un nettoyage plus sérieux et un meilleur équipement.

Séjour à Paulin

Le Gîte bien situé en pleine nature dans un hameau au milieu des champs de noyers et de producteurs de confits d'oie et de canard et assez proches de villages avec commerces et restaurants avec un grand parc entourant la maison. Cette maison rurale est bien équipée et bénéficie d'une piscine et d'une table de ping-pong. Cependant d'une part en en période de forte température, nous avons vraiment soufferts de la chaleurs la nuit car les chambres situées sous les toits sans climatisation de surcroit, n'étaient pas suffisamment ventilées par les Velux qui faisaient entrer les moustiques; c'est pourquoi nous nous refugions au RDC - d'autre part il faut mentionner que l'internet qui n'était pas haut débit comme mentionné dans l'annonce et n'a fonctionné correctement , il n'a pu être connecté que sur 1 seul ordinateur sans pouvoir l'utiliser sur les autres ou sur les téléphones portables de la famille .... ce sont 2 points à relever.

Sejour à Paulin

Ce gite est au coeur du perigord noir, loin de la foule estivale. Un parc très agréable et bien entretenu, une grande piscine offrent une prestation de qualité. La maison est confortable et les 4 chambres équipées chacune d’une salle de bain et d un wc sont un plus. Cette location correspond vraiment à la description de l’annonce.

We loved it

We loved staying at this beautiful villa. There was plenty of room for all of us. We had an amazing time enjoying the pool and play in the garden. Villa had everything you might need and Sylvain is responsive when we had queries.

We were looking for a family home with character and easy access in a preserved environment with detached buildings and a park with trees.

What makes this property unique

You will find beautiful landscapes and many waymarked paths.
There are 3 regions nearby: Périgord Noir, Limousin, and Lot, with different and complementary landscapes.
It is absolutely quiet, with an enchanting park with many tree and flower species.
This is an authentic private house with large 45 sq.m sitting room with exposed stones and beams, a fireplace, a large west-facing bay window giving onto the park and refined furniture.
The new kitchen is fully equipped.
The bedrooms are pleasant and comfortable.
