Comfortable, well equipped loved the bed, only niggle was the garden was not fully enclosed still had to keep an eye on the dogs Other than that great stay
This was our second stay here at the cottage and we absolutely loved it. Wonderful scenery, nice and quiet location and Liz, the owner, is very helpful indeed. We will definitely be back for a third stay
We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful property.Such a peaceful place and stunning views! Everything was there that we need for our stay and everything so clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, dudnt want to leave
Very clean, easy to find, beautiful location. VERY comfy bed, warm, well stocked kitchen with thoughtful touches. Fantastic walks right from the doorstep. Excellent dark sky for stargazing.
I had a lovely stay. Liz, the host was excellent with communication and even delivered more logs when I was running low. I would definitely recommend as a perfect "getting away from it all" place.
We found Chapelton Cottage to be very suitable for my husbands wheelchair as there was plenty of room to manoeuvre. Liz was extremely helpful checking how high we needed the table, bed etc and providing a shower chair. The bed was very comfortable and the views amazing. The paths in that area seem to be kept in good order and we found most places had suitable path surfaces for wheelchairs. We will certainly return.
Spent a few days resting and recovering in this beautiful little cottage. It’s amazing how this seemingly historic stone bungalow has been transformed into a modern and comfortable house inside with the luxuries for a perfect vacation.
The most idyllic cottage stay, exactly what I was looking for. Ideal location for quiet walks with my dogs in every direction from the cottage, didn't need to take the car out once!
Liz was absolutely amazing, gave me some suggestions for local walks and communicated the check in process and cottage location.
We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed everything about Chapelton Cottage! Liz made the check-in very easy, everything was just as described and it was absolutely perfect for us! We will definitely be staying here again if in the area!
Had the best stay, both myself husband and dogs love coming here, perfect location and dogs walks, liz is a lovely host and kept in touch with us.
Thank you again, we will definitely be booking again
Quiet, cosy, comfortable, clean, private, and with walks from the doorstep in all directions, this place was everything we were looking for and a lot more.
My husband and I had a very lovely stay at the cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean and the location was just as described. Could have stayed a lot longer, very cosy!
Thanks Liz!
This is our 2nd stay at this cottage, we loved it so much we had to return! The location is just absolutely beautiful & serene especially at night when all the stars are out and it’s so calm you could hear a pin drop.
The cottage itself is so cosy & well equipped. We relaxed immediately upon arrival.
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. Views all around and a comfortable cosy cottage, clean and well appointed, to enjoy them from. Liz the host was friendly and I wouldn’t have hesitated calling her if needed. We will definitely visit again.
One of the best we have stayed in the UK with everything you could want or need. Close to a small town for shopping. Centrally located for tourist attractions. Highly recommended.
Lovely place to stay if you’re looking for a cosy weekend in a rural spot. Weather wasn’t great during our stay but that didn’t matter much as we enjoyed board games by the log fire! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away from the city. Thanks Liz for a very enjoyable stay!
