Located in the wine-producing village of Celeirós do Douro, Teoria Guest House is a rural tourism house that offers its guests a quiet and familiar environment, as well as a privileged contact with nature in the heart of the Douro, offering besides great comfort, a view over the wine-growing terraces where the grapes slowly grow to become our wines "Theory" It has four air-conditioned bedrooms and two shared bathrooms, kitchen and living room.

The views of this property are amazing. Our stay was peaceful and we were able to enjoy the unobstructed views of the valley. We had a fabulous time!

A taste of Tuscany in Douro!!

The house was spectacular with out of this world views!! The hosts were amazing and soo accommodating and helpful. We can't say enough about this wonderful experience! Love love love!!!!! ❤️

Peaceful stay

We spent two nights here and the views were spectacular. It was very quiet for sleeping and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were good. The overall feel of the house is old fashioned but it is extremely clean. The living room couches were uncomfortable. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Our biggest complaint was the driveway was narrow with a steep drop off on the side. It was nerve wracking to drive it. Interesting stay in a very sleepy town in the Duoro Valley.

Amazing find in the Douro region!

The photos don’t do it justice. The property is stunningly beautiful, and everything is as advertised. We all slept great, it was so peaceful and comfortable! Antonio and his family are wonderful hosts - complimentary tour of the winery and a gift of a bottle of wine when we arrived were lovely surprises! The location is just a short drive from the highway and even though there were some narrow streets to navigate right at the end we had no trouble with our large station wagon. We spent a lovely 3 days including some nice winery and olive oil tours, a river cruise (just 10km away in Pinhao) and delicious meals. Highly recommend a stay here!
