Vista Azzura is the perfect spot to come home to at the end of the day, recently refurbished with great taste and relaxing colour scheme that reflects the blue of the lake. Vista Azzurra in Italian means Blue View!
A corner flat in the Bella Isola complex in Sala Comacina, there are some stairs to reach the unit from the top street level, but it also has a private garage that is quite precious in the small lake front village. Not a large garage, so if you are hiring a car, get a small one (you will thank us!)
Entering the flat, you are welcomed by the open space living/dining/kitchen with access to a balcony with a stunning 180-degree view of the lake and Isola Comacina. The sitting area offers a sofa that easily accommodates 4, a lovely leather armchair, smart tv and sound system. There is also a small desk for computer use if needed. The dining and kitchen area is just next to the living space. The dining area accommodates up to 4 (or 6 if table is expanded) with a fully equipped new kitchen with necessary appliances such as a coffee machine, toaster, blender.
The master bedroom has a Queen size bed and ample wardrobe space and garden views. The twin bedroom, next door to the double, has two twin beds also with garden views.
The family bathroom offers a shower, basin, WC and bidet.
Enjoy the communal pool for a cool dip at the end of the day!
Sala Comacina is a lovely town, approx. 25km from Como. It is the village that hosts the only island on the lake, Isola Comacina, and the Amazing Firework Festival for San Giovanni in June. Not to be missed! If you are planning a June holiday book Vista Azzurra for first row seats!
Other features at Sala Comacina are the beautiful Greenway del Lago di Como, connecting all of the Tremezzina villages: From Cadenabbia to Colonno, a beautiful walk that meanders in and out of antique hamlets, along the lake front and charming villages - a must-see!
The nearby towns are Colonno and Argegno going south, and Ossuccio and Lenno going north and further through Tremezzina to the larger Menaggio and the car ferry terminals to Bellagio and Varenna. Sala Comacina is a great location as it is located between the popular central lake area and the city of Como with an abundance of historic villas, parks, cafes, restaurants, bars, and lidos close by in either direction along the lake shore
