LOFT IN VILLA OLIVELLA
the loft is a portion of the villa where we live but with an independent entrance. We are close to the Appia Antica park, the most beautiful and evocative road in the world and a few kilometers from the center of Rome (7 kilometers from the Colosseum / Capitol) easily accessible by bus and / or subway. We are surrounded by tall trees and cheered by the chirping of birds and parrots, far from the hustle and bustle of the city although close to the center. Very close to the Ciampino airport and 30 minutes from the main airport of Fiumicino.

Pretty good experience.
Charming (private) one room (studio type room) at the residence of a local couple. We only speak English. The gentleman spoke enough English that we were able to communicate. Their multi-linguistic daughter stayed in contact with us via email and promptly answered any questions that arose.
It was really quite charming. It looked like it may have even been recently redone. My only real disappointment was the shower head (it actually seemed a little too big for the smaller shower). Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The hospitality of the owners and their daughter was superb.
