Quiet and remote, the house was clean on arrival. If you're looking to spend some time far away from busy life, this is the place. We were however negatively surprised as there was no WiFi, even though the listing said there would be. The exact location was also somewhat different from how it was described - keep in mind you will need a 15-minute drive on a mountain road from the nearest village.

Gorgeous and peaceful!

We LOVED our stay here. It was a great starting point for hiking the Ruta de Cares in the Picos de Europa (40 minutes away) but how delightful to discover another fun hike "Camino Encantado" just down the hill. 6.5 miles that takes you through beautiful woods and farmland and three small towns. Elena was friendly and helpful and the views were stunning. The fruit trees are a bonus.

Stunning mountain retreat

Hidden up a hilly track, this beautiful cabin was a wonderful location for a tranquil, bucolic escape. The garden offers gorgeous views of the Picos de Europa, whose mountainous trail are only 30 minutes away, yet the beaches of the Asturian coast are even closer (we recommend Playa Toranda). Elena was a very friendly and helpful host. All in all a terrific week in an agreeably lesser-known and under-touristified part of Spain.

La casita es muy coqueta y tiene todas las comodidades. Es ideal para 2 personas si buscas tranquilidad y a la vez planes en la naturaleza. El entorno y las vistas espectaculares. Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Lage und Umgebung großartig, Haus sehr wertig und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist ein Problem: 2 Gasflammen außer Betrieb, die Elektroplatten funktionieren nur teilweise. Bei der abgelegenen Lage wären Hinweise auf Restaurants und Markttage hilfreich gewesen. Kommunikation nur auf Spanisch möglich, was OK ist aber berücksichtigt werden muss.

Empfehlenswert!

Das Haus hat einen rustikalen Charme, bei einigen Küchenutensilien könnte nachgebessert werden. Alles wird aber wettgemacht durch die sehr abgeschiedene Lage in der grünen Natur mit dem traumhaften Blick auf die schneebedeckten Gipfel der Picos de Europa. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Prachtig uitzicht!

Mooi robuust huis, uitzicht op de besneeuwde Picos, grote tuin met sinasappelbomen, prima voor de hond. Om boven op de berg te komen en te parkeren is beheersing van de hellingproef noodzakelijk.

Traumhafte Region

Schockverliebt !! Traumhafte Buchten umgeben von hohen Klippen mit allerfeinstem Sandstrand - im Hintergrund nah dran die Picos de Europa mit atemberaubenden Wandertouren - grün und Wald mit u.a. unzähligen Eukalyptus Bäumen soweit das Auge reicht - Temperaturen (wir waren Ende Juli/Anf. August dort) meistens zwischen 20-25 Grad, so dass Aktivurlaub möglich ist. Man sollte allerdings auch regentaugliche Kleidung im Gepäck haben - nicht umsonst ist es dort so grün.
