We stayed in the gatehouse for a few days over Christmas 2022.we had a lovely stay and couldn’t fault anything with this property and was lovely to take 2 dogs.was lovely and relaxed.host had also but Christmas lights outside and a tree inside the house.was lovely to see the horses and also having a lovely dog incloser for them to run about which was a lovely touch.
Property was also very clean
We would definitely stay here again, thank you for a lovely stay
Thus is the second review I have left as my first one has magically disappeared. Don't belive the reviews that say it's 5* and clean etc. They are not true. I have photographic evidence of the disgusting state of the house when we arrived after being told it had been cleaned! We had to leave and couldn't stay there. The description has been changed aswell as it wasn't written on the description that dogs couldnt be left unattended. That's been added after we have complained and we are still fighting for our money back. Owner very rude and now ignoring us
Fabulous property. Very clean and very well stocked kitchen for cooking. Wanted for nothing.
Outside space and animals a real treat for the children. Loved it. Great communication. 5* all round.
Excellent property Tracy the owner was very friendly great to have some essentials on arrival such as tea coffee milk etc. There was a nice play area for young children and a few animals for the young ones to enjoy plus it’s dog friendly.
We stayed for 4 nights in the barn and had such an amazing time!
The barn was clean and well stocked. Tracy the host was very friendly and accommodating to our needs.
My daughter loved the garden and play area. There were lots of toys and play equipment available. We loved feeding the sheep and goats every day. There were so friendly.
We would definitely return!

Worked and lived in Hertfordshire, where we bought up 3 amazing, beautiful daughters, married to paul and now live the idyllic life in Norfolk enjoying time with our gorgeous grandchildren
Why they chose this property
Always dreamed of having a pony in the garden but never could afford it, then a run down barn with Orchard came on the market, and so our dream begins with a lot of hard work and commitment, we turned it into the perfect place to bring up our family and just feels like we are on a permanent holiday, with its quiet peaceful surroundings
What makes this property unique
The location is beautiful, our own little piece of heaven, lovely views, very quiet but not too far from it all
