Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.

CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

Rentals are not transferable to another party.

My twenty-day sojourn at the Ilikai Hotel in Waikiki was nothing short of exceptional. Great view in Honolulu

Went to Oahu for business and pleasure. Traveling alone i felt very safe and secure in the complex, room, and surrounding area. Unit and building is dated but clean and perfect for my needs. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and gadgets one needs. Bed was very comfortable. A few issues with sliding door and toilet were fixed immediately by maintenance. Lanai was hot with many pigeons, but perfect in am and after sunset. for

Enjoyed my stay at the Ilikai

I have stayed at the Ilikai before. I find it very convenient to be at the entrance/far end of Waikiki, rather than in the thick of it. While each condo has different owners, and different views, this particular condo was really wonderful. I was concerned about the fact that it was only on the 4th floor, but the views were still spectacular. It's beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The only addition I would recommend is a floor lamp in the living room area. At night, it can be a bit dim in the room. I would happily stay here again.

Condo at Ilikai

Our experience was less than great. Mold growing in corner of shower. Food on side of stove. Overall the room just smelled bad. The worst part was the Mattress. It is thin, pokey, and overall garbage. The bed frame is metal and the plastic corner covers keep falling off. The frame sticks out farther the the mattress so you constantly stub your toes on the metal legs. While I appreciate the ironing board and iron, it was unusable. The iron had a black crusty mess stuck to it. Not the luxury room as advertised. The Lenai was great as was the harbor view. Plenty of towels and linens were provided. Would stay in this hotel again but not in this condo and not in anything managed by this company. They don’t respond to their messages.

VRBO is awful book Illikia through shell vacations

The Manager Chris is unprofessional. Are room was a filthy mess, it smelled. We arrived at 6:00 pm coming from the East coast, we had plans. His response was get another room somewhere else, another resort. Really we are on Vacation, clearly a real problem solver. We have stayed at the Illikia 7 years straight through shell vacations, unfortunately they were sold out. So we made the mistake of VRBO. Good luck Chris we won't be back!!!

Postponed honeymoon

My husband and I had to cancel our honeymoon last week and rescheduled for this year. Two weeks before our trip the place we booked cancelled on us. We booked this place last minute and couldn’t be happier we did. It was a great location and had everything you need to enjoy your trip without spending extra money. Dave’s ice cream in the lobby is delicious and it was nice to have a little market right downstairs as well. Definitely recommend staying here

Wonderful stay at this condo in Ilikai. The location was perfect. The condo is well taken care of and clean. The views from the lanai were awesome. Only thing that could use improvement is the mattress on the bed which was rock hard.

Wonderful view and accommodations. All kitchen utensils and appliances were there and worked. Towels and sheets were fine. Really nice location overlooking the garden and marina with a distant view of the ocean and great sunsets! The street noise was kind of loud but the fountains covered the noise. Thank you for the hospitality!

Loved the property, perfect location!

We loved our stay! The place was very clean and nice, which we appreciated. The location in the building was ideal, great view, quiet, not too high up and great for late afternoon sunsets. The building itself is very convenietnly located, closed to everything, including parking yet pleasently quiet. The condo was well-stocked por two people, clean towels and cooking utencils, and the bed was super comfortable! We would definetly come back loved it.

Next to the elevators

What we liked: This room was very well remodeled, more than the other two places in the Ilikai we stayed at. Bathroom was great. The fridge and stove are clean and fairly new. What we didn't like: The room is right next to the elevator. During waking hours, there's a constant ding! But it didn't keep us up. However, the next room's TV was audible and every morning the construction upstairs woke us up.
