I really enjoy the low light pollution in the area which allows you to see the stars clearly at night. We came in January when it was freezing cold and snowing but it made the experience better The house was spacious with a nice living room, two nice bathrooms, a washing machine. There was a fire pit outside and a a hot tub which we did not use because of the weather. However I would love to come back and try it out one day again.

It's was a great stay and wonderful place

The property is very secluded and a great place to "get away from it all". The cabin was very clean and was very nice. On the way in we saw 9 deer in the field out back. Overall great place and awesome experience.

Great place

Very nice place to stay even on a rainy weekend since the hot tub griill and firepit are under a shelter. Only complaint we had was the propane bottle for the grill was empty and there wasnt any propane for the firepit on the porch

Sounds like you made the best out of a rainy weekend at our cottage, thanks for staying with us! For the future, our local operations manager contact information is provided in your guest stay details to handle issues during your stay - such as the propane! Had you let them know the tanks were empty, they could have been replaced for you. Aside from the tanks, we are glad you enjoyed your stay!

Quiet Oasis

We had a girls weekend away which had been long overdue. Paddlington Bear Cottage was the perfect place. It was quiet, very clean oasis away from home. We were not aware that the hot tub was shared with another cottage so were surprised to see other people in it at first but we had no problems sharing. Overall it was a great stay!

A wonderful place to stay

We booked this place on one day's notice so I can overlook some usual amenities not being there such as soap, shampoo/conditioner, matches and other similar things that hosts usually supply. That being said, it was a wonderful place to stay. Very cozy, doggo friendly and beautiful place to spend time with easy access to Ohiopyle. We absolutely recommend staying there

Loved the fire pit!!

The cottage is very comfortable but we spent most of our time outdoors. It was a beautiful fall weekend and we spent our days biking on the GAP and spent our evenings around the fire pit. The cottage is on a beautiful spot of land. Really enjoyed our weekend and would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway!

The property was nice, clean and secluded, even with two other cottages on the property. The night sky was amazing at the back of the property, wished we would've brought a telescope. There are alot of state parks in the area for walking and hiking and Ohiopyle is close for rafting or kyaking, we were even able to take a quick trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo amd Aqaurium which was only about an hour and half away. Would book again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Even with other homes on the street, there is plenty of space to feel like you are secluded and surrounded by nature! The deck is the perfect spot to watch the summer sunsets and stars. The location is also convenient to so many attractions - Kooser State Park, Ohiopyle, and yes just a 1.5 hour drive to Pittsburgh! Thanks for staying with us!
