Thank you. Happy you had a great experience. Stay in touch. Jane
We were attending a wedding at a friend's home nearby so that was the main reason we selected this property. It was very spacious for the four of us (3 adults, 1 child). We really appreciated the beautiful kitchen for our meals and the front and back porches. If I find myself in the area again, I would book here!

This cabin is the best one I have ever rented on VRBO. So tastefully decorated and cozy! I would highly recommend this cabin to rent. So close to Wellsboro and nearby hiking trails. Jane, the owner, is kind and accommodating to our needs while staying at her place; just a phone call away if you have any questions. This cabin is so relaxing and heavenly to stay at.

Thanks Ginger for your review. Not sure why you didn't get cell service. 95% of people do. Once in a awhile someone says they don't. This cabin is 15 miles from town. Glad you had a good time.
I stayed here with my dad and sister for a few days and we loved our time at the cabin/the surrounding area. It is even nicer In person than it is in the pictures! We loved the yard, the deck, and how beautiful and clear the stars were at night. Would definitely love to come back some time!

About the host
Hosted by Jane Yoder
Hello, we are Harold and Jane Roes Yoder. I was raised in upstate NY in the little town of Castorland. It is one of those towns that if you blink while driving through you will miss it. After my high school years I left Castorland and went into volunteer service through Rosedale Mennonite Missions and served a year in El Dorado AR at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home where I meet my husband, Harold. We married in 1980, had our 1st son James and lived in AR for the next year. We moved back to upstate NY for the next 5 years. By now our second son Adam was born. With Harold having some family in Lancaster county and not much luck with finding a good job in my home town we decided to move our family to Lancaster county. There Harold found his nitch as a Personal Care Home Administrator and for the next 18 years he served the residents and staff as their administrator. Harold was born in Pa and grew up on a farm in McVeytown. He worked hard all his growing up years on the family farm. As well, he left his hometown after high school to volunteer at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home as supervisor over maintenance, laundry and housekeeping. We are two people from two different areas; never knew each other growing up but ended up miles from our homes and found each other in El Dorado AR. We have been married now for 44 years this August 2024. We have two sons as mentioned, both are married. James and his wife have 4 children, Jocelyn (16) Blake (13) Everet 11 and Jaxon who is 7 years. Our youngest son Adam just got married in June 2011 in Japan to a Japanese girl he met at Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake NY. They have 2 sons Sho Edwin who is 11 and Cole Christopher who is 7 years old and a daughter Kumi who is 3 months. 2024 updated.
