Our house is located in a quiet residential area in Churriana, part of Malaga, 2 kilometers from the beach and the center of Torremolinos and only 8 kilometers from Malaga airport. (no noise!). There is always enough parking space in the street and parking is free. We rent an apartment adjacent to our house with a separate entrance and a private terrace with a view of the sea and the mountains. The apartment has 1 spacious bedroom, living room and open kitchen. Bathroom with a shower. We have a big garden with a swimming pool. Table with umbrella and sun loungers by the pool. The pool is completely private. Activities - beach, sea and terraces - organized mountain and/or river walks - trip to white villages - day trip off-road with the quad - Every Wednesday there is a horse show in the riding school 1 kilometer away. - You can also go horseback riding through the riding school. Rental price : from 50 euros per night per 2 persons. Adults only, pets not allowed. Free Wi-Fi and TV. Billing for water and electricity according to actual consumption (intermediate meters). Cleaning costs 50 euros.

A fantastic little spot to set up for a vacation near Malaga. Had a great time and it’s very private with great host. It had been recently renovated and was very well done. Private patio seating to take in the views. Anna made a very good tour guide for our trip with tips and things to do.

The apartment was recently renovated and has a great layout en great view. Fully equipped kitchen, great full size windows from floor within the 2 large arches in the living-dining room. New bathroom and a bedroom with his and hers walkin closets, great! Next to all the amenities; showergel, shampoo, toiletpaper, tissues, garbagebags etc etc, great service. There is one minor issues and that’s the garden area; although the pool is a good size and clean, the surrounding area is somewhat rundown and neglected in maintenance. If you get that up, your valuation can go from good to excellent

Beautiful property with a view of the Mediterranean from the back deck. The pool would have been great if the weather was warmer during our stay. There was a great koi pond we stopped to admire every time we walked past. The apartment was clean and perfect for just two. The only thing we found was the only road to get to the house was busy and did not have streetlights, so walking at dark wasn't ideal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and Ann was a great host, very friendly workout being intrusive.

Fantastic hosts (Ann and Herman): available but not intrusive, attentive, good humoured and responsive to any requests. The newly refurbished apartment was of a good build quality. It was clean and well appointed - had everything you need for your stay.Good quality fittings, comfy bed, no external noise, plenty if storeage space in kitchen and bedroom, large television with wi-fi connectivity. Secluded garden with pool.Access to a car is not essential but advisable as it is not well served by public transport: nearest bus / train is a 15 minutes walk along a relatively fast road. Churriana is 5 minutes in the car and has supermarkets, petrol stations and cafes. Also a great local gym that offers day membership for 10 euros. Out of season Torremolinos is great to visit and easy to park and get around. Plenty to do in vibrant centre and good beaches in easy reach.We would definitely go again.

We slept well and took advantage of the clothes washer at this residential neighborhood apt in the hills above the city. We found Torremolinos to be our favorite area for dining and beach visits.

ObservationsThe Vibro site is misleading...*The impression is walk out from villa to the pool, not correct. 11 steps up to the pool area another 4 steps down* Wi-Fi ok inside the 'villa' two steps out onto roof NO Wi-Fi * The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances including coffee machine and dishwasher. Please supply mugs not small coffee cups!* TV apparently uses Google TV all in German or foreign language and can't access live TV such as news programmes. The owner didn't know how to solve it!* Bedroom is really good, firm beds, walk-in cupboards with plenty of hangers.* Bathroom modern. Shower excellent needs shelves for soap/shampoo etc.

I am very sorry that you gave our brand-new, renovated apartment only a 6/10.
-When booking, you indicated that you needed a chair in the shower due to an amputated leg. I immediately asked if you could walk up the stairs, as there are approximately 10 steps from the street to the house and another 8 steps to the apartment. You indicated that this was not a problem, and I purchased a plastic shower chair especially for you. So, it was an unnecessary remark. You were aware that there was a flight of stairs involved.
-Wifi: I will check this. If it is correct, we will adjust it as soon as possible.
-Coffee cups: There are 4 large and 4 small cups available. Two large cups are located by the coffee machine with 2 capsules, so you can make coffee immediately upon arrival. I hope you remember this and that this was truly an unnecessary remark.
-TV: Works with Google Chromecast. I helped you create an account on-site so you could watch English-language TV. We welcome guests from all over the world. Google Chrome is the only and most accessible method for all our guests.
- Small shelf in the shower: That was already in the closet, ready to be hung. We discussed it together. And I apologized that it hadn't been installed yet. The contractor was here yesterday and it is now installed.
The apartment is brand new, and if there are any comments or questions, we would like to resolve them to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay. It is very unfortunate that we are being disadvantaged by a bad review. That significantly lowers our average score, and it takes months before we qualify for premium host status again.
I think it is very unfair that our apartment is only rated a 6/10.

We had a 2-night stay at this place. It was clean, organized and well laid out. The place is well represented in the pictures and the host was friendly and accommodating.
The only negative thing about the visit was the weather, but that was outside of the hosts control.
I am speaking on behalf of my Son and his partner that I booked this place for .They were really happy with their stay it was easy to get to the airport .They enjoyed their walks to the beach and town which was no more than a 10 to 15 min walk .They commented how helpful and lovely Ann was as a host .They wished they could of stayed longer

Great place to relax.
This was a beautiful, quiet place to relax by the pool. I really wish we had more time to do so. We did not have a car so it was a lot of walking to get to a store or the train station. However, there is a fantastic Italian restaurant only 2 minute walk away. Old town in Malaga was a 15 min. train ride away. Ann and Herman were very friendly
We had a fabulous 6 night break, Ann was very helpful & friendly, giving us information and places to visit in and around Malaga. The accommodation was just what we needed, the views were great you could see the sea and mountains, we did not hire a car and found walking to where we needed to go too very easy…. the beach a 30 mins walk , the shop (small supermarket) 10 mins walk and train station 15 mins walk. Taxi from and to Malaga airport only 18 Euros. We would love stay again sometime. Thank you Ann and Herman.

Lovely outdoor space
Hosts are the loveliest couple and will do anything for you. I have no complaints but there are a couple of things I knew before booking. There is no toilet door, just a beaded curtain which separates the shower room from the kitchen. Toilet paper must be put in a bin rather than flushed. We really struggled with this as we’ve never had to do this before. There is also an additional cost for gas/electricity usage payable on departure.

Toilet door: the bathroom is a separate room with a bead curtain, that's right. Since we only rent to 2 people (99% of them are couples) and that is in principle not a problem regarding privacy.
Toilet paper: in Spain in all old houses this is standard. This also applies in many bars/restaurants. There is a waste bin next to the toilet, so I don't see the difference. Do you throw your toilet paper in the toilet or in the waste bin? That's almost the same. Hygienically we have provided everything, sufficient waste bags and there is a large barrel outside to dump everything in. We will empty this for you.

We only stayed two nights but enjoyed the property. The apartment,although compact was well designed and well equipped. The pool was really lovely. There was a pizzeria at the end of the road but it didn't open until 8pm so we bought one from the supermarket instead. You really need a car unless you are happy to relax by the pool all day.It would be possible to park at the closest train station and get the train to Malaga or down the coast. Ann was helpful and friendly as host.

Disappointing Standards
Host pleasant, space adequate, bed and pillows poor quality Toilet/whb/shower openened directly, with no door, on to kitchen (H&S standards?), toilet cistern faulty. Minimal amount of kitchen equipment, no hairdryer, and no basic welcoming supplies at all. As stated, airplane noise was not intrusive. however, the apartment opened on to veranda facing motorway to Malaga with non stop loud traffic.

We're sorry you weren't completely satisfied. The apartment has a standard Spanish bed with a mattress that is only 2 years old. And new Ikea pillows and duvet. We also provide bed sheets. But okay, that's worth considering investing in another bed.
The bathroom is small but has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. It is indeed closed with a door curtain. The apartment is only rented to 2 people (99% couples) and this has never been reported as a problem. 2 towels per person, basic shower gel and shampoo provided.
You first reported upon departure that there was a problem with the toilet. So if this had been reported earlier, it could have been quickly avoided.
Kitchen equipment: 4-burner gas stove, warm air oven, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine, pots, pan, plates, cutlery, glasses, coffee cups, etc. Basic spices and oil, .... Kitchen towels, dishcloth, dishwashing liquid.
There is also a washing machine in the apartment.
Did you need anything? You just had to ring our doorbell next door.
hairdryer: you asked me for that, and I delivered it to you immediately. It was not clear what you meant by "other basic necessities". We live next door. Just ring the bell and we will help where we can.
Terrace with mountain and sea views. Beautiful view. And yes, there is a motorway less than a kilometer away as the crow flies. And yes, you can indeed hear that on the terrace at the rear. You don't hear anything inside and the bedroom is on the side of the garden, even with the window open you don't hear anything at all. As mentioned upon arrival, you can use our garden and swimming pool. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet without any noise pollution. There you can sunbathe on our sun loungers, there is a table with a parasol for eating, etc...
Ann was very kind and helpful. The garden is gorgeous, and the apartment was minimal but clean and a great value. However it is not as easy to get around to Malaga or Torremolinos as I’d hoped. The main road connecting Churriana to Torremolinos, that you must use to get to the beach or metro, had a high speed limit with very little shoulder that made it a bit unnerving with cars speeding by. It was also a bit frustrating to walk into town and find everything closed, as the siesta hours were a bit inconsistent and not accurately listed on google. Uber prices were also quite high. For that reason I would recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here. It could also be nice for one or two days if you just want to hang around the pool, as it really is quite a nice garden space.

A fair comment regarding the distance to the beach and the center if you are here without a car. Yet many tenants come here and walk everywhere. The taxi Uber is normally maximum 10 euros to get back because it is only 2.5 kilometers. That is still cheaper than renting a car.
Advantage: Our rental price is 2x to 3x lower than on the first line at the beach and center. You have an oasis of peace in our garden with a large swimming pool. And you have your own private terrace with a view of the sea. Free parking in the street.
Disadvantage: We are 2.5 kilometers from the center and the beach. Half an hour walk or maximum 5 minutes by car.

It was a great property with a fantastic view please be advised of the writing at the end where it states that you pay for your consumption of water and electricity. There is also no centralized AC or any window unit so if there is no wind it can be quite HOT. There was not a breakdown of any math of how the total was calculated for the utilities we were just told a total that we had to pay. The only few complaints are that I had to reach out to figure out what the steps were going to be for us to check in coming in from the US this information was not given to us via the owner and the lack of transparency with the math done for utilities. Very awkward way to end our trip but thank goodness we had a great time besides that.
