The peaceful break we were after
The Old Chapel is in a lovely, quiet location. Georgina gave us a warm welcome and we settled in quickly. There was loads of room for the two of us, the layout of the conversion is really well done. It would be lovely to return with a couple of friends and hopefully the Gin Bar will be allowed to return post-virus ;)

Hi, I am a caterer, I work from home, my husband is a cabinet maker who also works from home. We are always around to show you into The Chapel, lots of lovely pieces made by my husband, and if you want some food leaving for you, or indeed food serving to you, I am right here to do that. We very much leave you to enjoy your time, but we are just around the corner should you have any questions. Come and see...

Why they chose this property

We waited for a long time to be able to develop the Chapel, we thought long and hard about how we wanted it to be. We have kept a lot of original features, tried to keep the essence of what it used to be. We have given it a high spec, lovely Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, a big bathroom in each room with a walk in shower, no expense spared. Upstairs (as it is an upside down house) is a large open plan leaving space with far reaching views. Just pulling up a stool and gazing out the window is a wonderful past time in The Chapel.

What makes this property unique

The Chapel is in a very unique village. A beautiful green with blossom trees, daffodils, the grass kept immaculate, it is a very special place and The Chapel is right in the middle of the village. A walk to the end of the green and you will find yourself outside The Blue Lion, a gastro pub, it is delicious, and only a stone's throw away.
