Maison des Praz

A fantastic four-bedroom modern ski chalet sleeping 10 people next to La Flegère ski lift. Maison des Praz is a great place to explore Chamonix valley in summer or winter.

Built over two floors, the living area of Maison des Praz is an open plan, light and airy space with full-length windows offering views of the Mont Blanc massif from the dining room table.

The modern and fully equipped kitchen has plenty of space to create meals in and the sofas by the French windows allow you to spend time chatting together or watching the large, flat screen TV.

The French windows open out on the lawn and garden where there are chairs and tables in summer.

The ground floor contains a family bedroom with a double bedroom and bunks and a shower room with a toilet and sink

Bikes and skis are stored in the closed storage area inside the house.

Spiral stairs lead up to the first floor where there are three bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 is a double or a twin with a bathroom with shower and toilet.

Bedroom # 2 is smaller and can be either a single or a double.

Bedroom #3 has a double sofa bed that can be either left as a sofa and chill out room or made up as a double bedroom.

The sunny terrace leads off this last bedroom and has garden furniture for you to enjoy the afternoon sunshine and views of Mont Blanc.

This floor also has a full bathroom and a separate toilet and a washing and drying machine for clothes.

The property is hidden away behind the Hotel Lanchers with three other private residences and has no through traffic.

Please note. The cost of your reservation includes one set of linen and towels for each person and cleaning when you leave. If you are staying longer than a week you may want to consider booking a change of linen and towels and even some mid-stay cleaning. This is all available and can be discussed and booked once you have finalised your reservation.

amazing stay!

The condo was perfect! We had 8 people and there was plenty of room. Everything was just like it was listed. We could see Mont Blanc from several places in the condo. The neighborhood was great - there was a wonderful small grocery store right down the street and a bar across the street. It was in a quiet part of Chamonix which was nice. I would highly recommend!

Great place to stay

We (a family of six) spent a week at Maison de Praz. The property is well maintained, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and for us as a family, the downstairs open space worked very well. Location was tranquil and we could walk to the ski lifts and the bus stop. It's located in the little Praz village which was very cute. Highlights included the Epicerie with freshly baked organic bread, local ski shop was good and staff friendly and the after ski bar/cafe next to it great! Great and easy family stay! Recommended!

Stay at maison des praz chamonix

Flat ok. Lack of kitchen equipment. Very basic ( coffee machine, food mixer not working, ..) no big bowl for salad…Guests from next door hotel considering the patch of ground outside our terrace as a pets’ toilet…….Not very pleasant when staying with toddlers who would like to play in the snow….

We liked the kitchen, the bedroom and the living area. Great for a bigger family or a group of friends. We didn’t miss anything during our visit. The walk to Chamonix, next to the river, was almost magical because of all the snow. We didn’t use the terrace but that must be a nice place in spring or summer. We recommend this house. Nothing.

I couldnt rate this property more highly. Great location and well equipped. Shuttle bus stop just outside property, with a bakery, restaurants and a nice bar also only a couple minutes walk away. Flegere ski lift is only 5 mins walk away. Property has everything you could ask for. Thank you

great accommodation next to Flegere gondola. We were a group of 7 and we really enjoyed the place: it is well equipped with all amenities and very cozy. Bob is a great host and helped us with all our questions and needs . We recommend the place and we would really enjoy to comeback .
