Camelot by the Sea is an oceanfront resort conveniently located near area shopping, dining, live entertainment and golf. The resort amenities include a 60 ft oceanfront pool, 40 ft kiddie pool with mushroom water fountain, 90 ft heated indoor pool, 200 ft heated indoor lazy river and indoor & outdoor hot tubs.

Our condo is located on the 5th floor of this beautiful resort. Our condo features an oceanfront master bedroom with King bed and private bathroom, a guest bedroom with 2 Queen beds, sleeper sofa in the living room, washer/dryer in the unit, and a 24 ft long oceanfront balcony. Our condo has all new waterproof vinyl plank flooring in the living room and bedrooms, new tile in the bathrooms and kitchen, granite counter tops in the kitchen and upgraded bathroom vanities with granite counter tops. The beach style decor and colors makes our condo warm, fun and inviting. The resort has an attached parking garage allowing guests to park near the front door of the unit making it easy to load/unload the car and guests don't have to walk across the street making it very safe for families.

Myrtle Beach was voted 'Best Family Beach' by The Travel Channel. Great Central Location! You'll be close to all that Myrtle Beach has to offer including, 120 golf courses, over 1900 restaurants, live entertainment, fun shopping, water parks, and thrilling attractions. Camelot by the Sea is conveniently located 6 blocks from the new oceanfront Boardwalk, less than 5 miles from the airport and The Market Commons - a 114 acre urban village community with shopping (Tommy Bahama, The Orvis Company, Chico's), dining (PF Chang's, Gordon Biersch Brewery, Divine Prime and Travinia Italian Kitchen) and entertainment (Grande 14 Cinema). Camelot by the Sea is also less than 2 miles from Broadway at the Beach, a large outdoor shopping area that has dozens of great restaurants, IMAX Theater, mini-golf, children's amusement park, Ripley's Believe it Or Not Aquarium, Hard Rock Cafe, night clubs, piano bar, arcade and paddle boats. The Nascar Speedpark is located directly across the street from Broadway at the beach and features several go-cart tracks and an arcade. Next to the Speedpark is Myrtle Waves, South Carolina's largest water park with over 30 slides and attractions and 1.2 million gallons of water. Myrtle Beach

Property is right on the beach. Which is exactly what we wanted. There are multiple pools and hot tubs with a lazy river. Some are covered so you can you use if it rains. The room was perfect for us with a balcony that overlooks the beach. Room was clean and the washer/dryer in the room was a plus. We would book here again!

Great time!

Loved the location. The condo was very roomy and provided a full kitchen. Loved the parking garage. Got a spot right off the floor. Also, the ice maker in the frig provided enough for our daily cooler. And, kept everything nice and cold. Easy walk to the 14 street pier. Pool was nice also.

Winter break

The unit was great for our family vacation and it was so nice to get away from the cold and snow up north! My kids loved their time on the beach and in the pool. My husband and I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony.

Condo was just as advertised. On my drawback is the garage as I could t get my f150 in there with a small lift on it. But not owners fault.

Camelot Hotel condo

The condo was nice. Great location. The attached parking garage was a plus. The only issues were, there was a semi clog in the drain of one of the tubs. Also the hot water wasn’t turned on until 8-830 in the morning.

This condo is nice but I think the owner needs to maybe hire a new cleaning service along with updating kitchen items. I’ve rented from Vrbo many times and I’ve never seen such bare minimum of stuff in the cabinets.

We enjoyed the view. Liked the washer and drier. Unhappy with the bed and bedding in the main bedroom. Horrible WiFi. Kids liked the lazy river, but the outdoor pool was not heated (too cold to swim). Satisfactory, but we will not be back. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

Met our needs but not what we expected.

The unit was worn and dated compared to the online listing. There were areas of the condo that were not as clean as we would expect for the money we paid. The lock to the front door was not functional for the first day and night we were there and our possessions were left unprotected. The hot water would not work for the first couple days unless we let it heat up for at least 10 minutes. I did not recieve a parking pass and had to park in the lot across the street due to the size of our van. The security at the resort left notices on my van everyday threatening to have it towed. I had a verbal confrontation with the security team and the resort management as a result. We left a half day early. The door to the condo opened up into the parking garage which was not shown in the pictures.

Camelot condo

Poorly prepared/cleaned - found coffee maker in a cabinet with a wet coffee filter with coffee grounds and no carafe, frying pan in dishwasher with burned food on it and a dish in the cabinet with caked on food and some plastic utensils that were melted. Contacted owner, his response was that the cleaning crew has limited time to do everything, but we paid for cleaning. He did arrange to replace frying pan and coffee maker the next day. Then found clothes dryer dirty and lint trap full, several lights out and one bathtub that did not drain and garbage disposal tripped out with oyster shells in it. Some dishes and glasses were missing so no complete sets, like 2 wine glasses for a condo that can handle 8 guests (there was no inventory list to check.) The owner's maintenance man did respond promptly to fix bathtub and garbage disposal. TV remotes did not all work and no instructions on available stations and operation. To top it off, the advertised ability to use the parking garage and park on the condo level was prohibited due to pressure washing and painting the week we were there. There was no prior notice from the owner of this. Very disappointing! We did not complain to the owner on all the items, but left a list for the cleaning crew for those items like some of the lights and missing glasses.

Not so clean

We stayed a month, but I had to buy cleaning supplies including a mop and pan to clean the floors and our first day I spent cleaning or I couldn't have stayed. I'm not a clean freak,but it was dirty. Even the walls needed washed. We enjoyed the ocean front views from the living area, kitchen, and bedroom. We left it a whole lot cleaner than we found it. There were still things that needed cleaned, but I felt it beyond what I should have to do!

Good location

Place is quiet except for the sounds from parking garage. Big plus is the parking garage is on the property and not across street like most. Beach access is easy just steps away. Pools are okay not great inside are heated. Overall it is a nice place to stay as you can cook your own meals if you choose or eat out. Would need a car as we did to get around if you want to see more then ocean.

My wife, son and I currently live in South Florida. My family has vacationed in Myrtle Beach every year since I was a child. Some of my favorite childhood memories include playing on the beach with my family, catching waves in the warm ocean water, playing beach volleyball, going to the water parks and racing the go-carts. I also fondly remember competing against my brother in miniature golf (we are very competitive), enjoying the many shows in Myrtle Beach, watching the weekly firework displays, and best of all, my dad taking the entire family to make your own sundae after dinner. Now that I have my own family, I want to continue our wonderful family tradition and create new family memories with my wife and son.
