Family reunion
Super place to meet up and share experiences - old and new. We did not have our dog but the doggie touches were great.

A Christmas to remember
The Portree property in Glenarm was all we had hoped it to be for our first overseas Christmas as a family and friends of 7. The facilities are impeccable. We stayed 7 nights and the property had everything we needed including an extensively equiped kitchen. Daniel was very responsive to queries and added a personal touch of having a Christmas tree setup on our arrival. A memory our family will carry for many years to come.

60th birthday celebration
A great place, spacious rooms, great internal facilities. Games room was a welcome distraction and was well used. Hot tub fabulous even though the outside temperature was 2 degrees (a new trend of wearing woolly hats was made) and listening to the fresh sea breeze and waves was very therapeutic. No shops near the house but plenty of kitchen and fridge space for food and refreshments. Would definitely recommend the house and would love to return for a further visit.

About the host

Host profile image
I manage the property as part of our family business in holiday lets. I currently live in Sheffield but love to travel around Europe and especially the UK .

Why they chose this property

We were on a family road trip up the coast road to see the sights, and stumbled across this property for sale. We instantly fell in love with the location and saw the huge potential it had. After the renovations I'm sure you will agree it is a dream property.

What makes this property unique

The views and location are obviously the main unique benefits to the property, but there are little features everywhere within this property that truly make it an individual home from home. From the dual aspect fireplace & the seafront hot tub, to the Nordic hut in the 2 acre secured garden, everyone will find a special place to enjoy.
