The Cider house is a charming conversion of an early 19th Century building at North End Farm in Chideock. It comfortably sleeps 6 adults using a superking double room with an en suite bathroom, a separate kingsized double room and 2 kids in a bunk room. It has a downstairs bedroom with an adjacent shower room.
There is wifi throughout the house, a woodburning stove and plenty of period features including the 17th century door lintels over the larder and loo basin. There are 2 tv's one in the open plan kitchen/living/dining room and one in the snug where the comfortable large sofabed is located.
Outside there is a patio, a bbq and of course the fantastic views that North End is famous for.
The farm is 1.5 miles from the beach at Seatown. There are wonderful walks from the door linking onto the Jurassic coast. It is 15 minutes from the thriving market and artistic towns of Lyme Regis and Bridport. The area is known for its fantastic restaurants and food culture.
The cottage has access to the 100 acre higher level stewardship farm. Guest are welcome to walk throughout the farm that has access to footpaths such as the Monarch's way, Jurassic coast, the south west coastal footpath and Shutes Lane and Colmers Hill recently made famous as one of Julia Bradbury'c classic walks.
The Cider House at North End farm is located in North Chideock between the thriving market towns of Bridport and Lyme Regis.
Bridport is renown for it's saturday and wednesday markets, hat fair and thriving arts, music, food arts and antiques scenes. West Bay is port made famous by the series Broadchurch with multiple eating opportunities, speed boat hire a summer fair
Lyme Regis is a beautiful historical port with a sandy beach, an occasional surf break and wonderful restaurants and plenty of fishing boats for hire.
The owner, Eddie, is also resident t North End farm and happy to help with his loal knowledge and keen to interest people in paragliding and actually runs a company, Sky safaris which provide paragliding so if you want to fly above the Jurassic coast here's an opportunity you can't let go by.
