Disappointing Cottage very uncomfortable and dated equipment.
No access to garden from house, you had to walk around a slippery path and up 3 steps to get to it. Uncomfortable cane furniture, nowhere to stretch out after long days walking. Bed uncomfortable, no bedside lights or tables so it was pitch dark when you turned off the main light and you had to fumble your way to the bed. Could not work out how to use the oven even with a few instructions. Microwave sounds like it’s about to pack up. DVD player didn’t work. The cleanliness was good and the area is lovely. We cut our holiday short by 1 day as couldn’t stand another day of discomfort.
Nightmare for the first 7 days after expecting a lovely accommodation very disappointed, on entering property found dirty and unclean. First thing we did was to make a drink found kettle lid not opening after a long journey greeted with stained cups dirty cupboards, greasy microwave, tired fridge and chipped plates etc . Dinning chairs all stained too dirty to sit on conservatory furniture damaged opened cupboard and was hit with a ironing board,Tv and heater not working. Bathroom advertised as shower over bath no shower curtain or rail. Tried ringing agent many times and no answer on the day of arrival tried different numbers but to no avail, managed to get a answer the next day. sent someone to fix tv and heater but tv broke down following day saying no signal all night waited till following day to try and still not working sent out man again while we was out on entering the property tv was on and working but in no time went of again i did some investigation myself and found lead to be damaged. When trying to have a bath very slippery no mat in a metal bath fell over when tried getting out rang agent and was told the advert did not say it was advertised with a curtain and pole curt reply only pole in bathroom was a half of a fishing rod.Upstairs cupboard in main bedroom full of linen shoes flipflops thrown in, Bed very tied top of foot board fell off in the night bed itself very noisy when turning over wakes one up.
