This lovely house has lots of light, and a large yd with a comfortable patio for sitting or BBQ'ing. The very large master BR has an attached bath, and faces the fully-enclosed & private flat, grassy back yard. There are 2 sunny, kid-friendly BRs plus a fourth BR that also works well as home office, if prefer. Great kitchen, breakfast nook, spacious living room, & dining room. Very safe nbhd, 1.3 mile walk, bike or bus to UC campus.

I am a psychologist and my wife a biology professor. We raised our two children in this comfortable and convenient home.
Why they chose this property
This is a wonderful house, convenient to walking trails, 2 lakes, areas for biking, shopping, and cultural activities (U.C. Berkeley is 1.3 miles away). In summer, enjoy the private, quiet, flower-surrounded patio which is just beside our large grassy lawn. Gas grill. Large living room with t.v., stereo, etc. Beautiful, light breakfast nook (seats 5) for eating less-formally than in dining room.
What makes this property unique
Windows are double-paned for quietness. House has solar panels, and solar water collectors supplementing our large hot water tank. Berkeley's climate - doesn't get very hot, and summer nights cool down for easy sleeping - makes air-conditioning unnecessary.
