Everything was as advertised and was terrific. The location is stunning. The lodge was clean and comfortable. The appliances did their jobs and the fireplace, bedding, and every other detail were all just right. Our only complaint is that we were not informed of what was clearly a scheduled power outage on our last morning which was inconvenient, to say the least.
Really a lovely place to have a holiday. Best quality fittings & furniture. Comfy beds, heating on when you need it. Good supply of logs to start you off.
Kitchen was well equipped but a few things extra would be nice.
The basket of goodies in the photos of the lodge doesn’t exist on arrival so should be taken off add. 2nd & 3rd bedroom had no furniture except the bed but manager brought 2 bedside cabinets when I complained of this problem.
Overall a lovely stay & would go back.
