About this property

6 Parklands, near Bude, offers a spacious & comfortable base, sleeping up to 8, from which to explore the spectacular North Cornwall coast. There are several beaches on your doorstep, the nearest being the gorgeous Sandymouth Beach. Nearby Bude, one of Cornwall's best kept secrets, offers beaches, sports facilities and a great selection of shops, restaurants and bars. The SW Coast Path gives endless options for walks. Within 30 minutes you can reach Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel, Clovelly & days trips include Rock, Padstow, Newquay, Exeter, The Eden Project and SO many more.

The bungalow has a kitchen-diner, comfortable sitting room with doors onto the patio area backed by woodland. There is a king-size bedroom with ensuite shower-room, a double bedroom and a third bedroom with 2 single beds each with pull-out children's beds under, so can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (2 being children). There is also a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Penstowe Park offers a gym, bar, entertainment including children's entertainer during the school holidays (the infamous 'Capt. Crumble'!). But the main draw to this area is its spectacular and breath-taking natural beauty, but without the crowds of the busier areas of Devon and Cornwall. This top corner of Cornwall is tucked away enough to offer the peace and quiet you need to fully relax, but also accessible enough that there are an infinite number of options for places to visit and explore during your stay.

Wonderful spacious and clean property close to beautiful beaches

This is a really lovely and well maintained property. Very clean and much more spacious than the photos suggest. Great property and quiet site for all. From start to finish the comms with the owner were helpful and accommodating. Great info about the property and surrounding areas given. Our favourite beach was Sandymouth just a couple of miles away for the property. Stunning coastline with lots of rock pools, natural waterfalls and a large Sandy beach when the tide is out. Great cafe and clean toilet facilities. Free parking for national trust members too. Thank you so much Jane for being an amazing host and for a wonderful stay at No 6 😊

Lovely bungalow

The host here was helpful and responsive. A hiccup with the rental early on but quickly sorted and plain sailing all the way through from there on. Beautiful interior, well equipped bungalow in a pretty spot with easy access to lots of great places to see.

Lovely place to stay.

Great place, beautifully decorated. even better than the pics. Very peaceful and easy walk to the little town. Lovely bottle of fizz and yummy biscuits waiting for us. Nice touch. Could do with basic internet just to plan things to do and watch a movie in the evenings. Would definitely stay again.
