Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Private parking for 3 cars.. All properties: Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Lawned garden with garden furniture and barbecue. No smoking. Please note: There is a river 200 yards from the properties.. Burracott Farm offers the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Set within a sheltered valley with superb countryside views all around yet just 3 miles from the glorious North Cornish coast. Cider Barn and Homeleigh Barn are semi-detached and have been lovingly converted to retaining much charm and character, whilst Millers Rest is a spacious single storey detached property. All 3 properties are coastal properties. Sheep and cattle graze in the fields surrounding the cottages and the area is a haven for wildlife. Whether surfing, walking, playing golf, fishing or simply relaxing this stunning holiday location has something for everyone. The popular resort of Bude lies just 5 miles away and has excellent shops and restaurants, many specialising in locally caught seafood, along with a golf course, tennis, riding, indoor ’Splash’ pool, bowling and three sandy beaches. Of the many varied activities for you to do in the area, you might like the idea of a fishing trip in one of the local fishing boats; or perhaps to see the area from a bird’s eye vantage point in a microlight aircraft from Davidstow Moor. The picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Tintagel are just 15 miles. Eden project and the wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors are all within easy driving distance. Shops 2½ miles, pubs 3 miles.

Lovely people, property was clean and charming.

Lovely people, property was clean and charming. We got a brilliant rate as it was out of season, will be back in the summer for sure. The owners even left a freshly baked caked in the fridge for us which was very kind. Location is good as it’s semi rural and quiet but not a far drive into Bude. I would recommend 100%

Staying at Burracott Farm

Had a lovely relaxing stay , loved the location. The north coast was very accessible. Carol and Michael were welcoming. Had a small issue with hot water and Michael had it sorted very quickly.

Nice farm

Carol the owner was a wonderful friendly host. I was told to contact them by phone before our stay and couldn’t get through they had their phone line cut so I was hoping all was well when we showed up. Sure enough key was in door when we got there. Great location, quiet, large enough for family although not much seating upstairs. Enjoyed our stay.

Defiantly a place to stay. Cottage was well equipped beyond what was expected. Great base to travel only an hour from Newquay and other brilliant beaches. Hosts were friendly and helpful if we had any questions about the local area. Views from the cottage are stunning the bleeting of sheep didn’t even bother us the place was that beautiful. There’s 3 cottages on sight altogether we booked the two adjoining ones as we travelled with family which was very convenient. So if you were travelling in larger groups there’s plenty of accommodation to suit. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Excellent cottage, quiet location.

Excellent cottage, quiet location. Car needed to get to beach (2.5 miles) and pub/restaurants, which didn't bother us. Bude is a really great area with plenty of coastal and inland walks and quite central for exploring the area. Also has a leisure centre and ten pin bowling.
