Wonderful place to stay! This is one of the best accommodations we have ever had, and my wife and I have visited 52 countries. The host was very welcoming and provided everything one would need to feel at home. This location makes for an excellent hub to take day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and to see so much incredible history nearby as well. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Scotland!

Very friendly and accommodating host. Great central location. Near the famous stirling bridge and walkable to castle
We spent the week in Stirling - and did day trips and an overnight trip in the Highlands. I LOVED this location - it has everything needed - a fridge, fully stocked kitchen, cozy/comfortable beds, and a fantastic location with great parking.
Can not fault the accomodation, location or communication at Gingers. Thouroughly recommend if looking for a place to stay in Stirling. House was spotless and felt like a home from home.
Found some great places to eat and drink locally also
We decided to stay in Stirling as both a jumping off point into Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Hihhlands. The train station is an easy 20 min walk. Her flat is incredibly spacious, provided a nice welcome basket, and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend staying here!
Lovely place to stay & warmly welcomed by owners. Everything provided & listed & more. Would highly recommend staying here. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Thank you Lesley & Manu
This home made a great home base for exploring Stirling and the surrounding area. It’s a very easy walk or drive into Stirling. The home has everything you’d need.
Ginger’s home was centrally located and convenient. It was close to Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle. It was clean and breakfast snacks were provided. The host was accommodating and pleasant. The place served our needs for a group of 5.
Nice flat just north of old town Stirling. Easy in/out, on site parking. Nice little back yard to sit outside in goid weather. Kitchen is tiny, but is well equipped. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants.
Exactly what the 4 of us needed for our short stay in Stirling. Close to the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and shops. The owners live next door and couldn’t be nicer. Very clean and the pictures are accurate. It does back on to the main Stirling train line, but it is quieter than you would think.
It was a very comfortable, cozy place.
Very quaint. We loved the breakfast basket with extra goodies.
It was very close to the places we wanted to visit.
The icing on the cake was being able to wash our clothes after a week and a half.
The instructions left for operation of the appliances and heating was very helpful.

Thank you for your kind review, Vicki. You were absolutely perfect guests and we were delighted to be able to host you. Thank you for taking such good care of the house, leaving it so clean and tidy, and going above and beyond to follow house rules. Unfortunately, I missed that criterion when I was doing the review for you, but I would have given you double stars had it been possible.
Warm wishes

We stayed at Ginger's place twice on our trip to Scotland. Started and finished our Highland adventure here. The place was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. After 12 days in the Highlands we returned here for our last night. It felt like coming home. That's how inviting Ginger's Place is. Lesley, the owner, lives next door. On the last night of our second stay Lesley stopped by to see if everything was OK. We invited her in and we had a lovely half hour chat. Highly recommend this place.
My husband, 2 teenage children and I stayed at Gingers Place for 3 nights, July 2022. Lesley was so helpful and friendly. The home was immaculately clean. The beds, linens, pillows and towels were of high quality-my son said it was the most comfortable bed he ever slept in! Everything from Old Towne to grocery stores, restaurants and main Stirling sites were within walking distance, as was the train station. Our only regret was that we did not book a longer stay. We truly hope to be able to return one day in the future.
