This casita is located in a 55+ community and comes completely furnished. It has a king size bed, a 32" flat screen T.V. a D.V.D player, washer and dryer, internet, cable and a fully equipped kitchen. This casita is conveniently located within walking distance of the Continental shopping center which offers a variety of restaurants and stores. Relax in the desert landscaped courtyard or by the heated pool and hot tub which are only steps away. Whether you come to relax in the sun or take an active part in the local social centers, Green Valley has it all. The Green Valley Recreation centers (GVR) are available to guests for a nominal fee. Your "guest card" allows you access to 12 facilities which have many activities, classes and tours. There are approximately 8 golf courses nearby.

There is plenty of sightseeing in the area. You'll want to visit the Madera Canyon. Tubac's cultural arts center is only 20 minutes away and Nogales, MX is only a 40 min. drive south. Other attractions are the pecan orchards, The Titan Missile Museum, San Xavier del Bac which is a historic Spanish Catholic mission founded in 1700, The Diamond casino is 8 miles away or drive up to Tucson to enjoy a great buffet at the Casino del Sol.

Work Getaway

Renee was very good with being communicative and friendly. The place has everything that you need for essentials and then some. Right near a grocery store and the freeway. Plenty of parking and grills nearby. I would stay again if I come to travel in Southern Arizona.

Great little studio+ casita for a great price. Comfortable bed, large recliner. Sufficiently stocked kitchen. Could use a few upgrades in furniture, but it was fine for the price. Way cheaper than a hotel and all the amenities of home. Excellent communication with management! I’ll book again

Excellent Place to stay

We had stayed here two years ago and really enjoyed it. We were visiting my wife's father at the time. This is very close to the stores (grocery, pharmacy, McDonald's, health care). One bedroom with King bed, bathroom with tub and shower, nice small kitchen with table for four and a living room with two padded chairs that rocked and a couch. Just the right size for two adults. Very clean! This time we stayed due to the death of my wife's father. I was close to all needed contact in Green Valley and with 20 - 25 minutes of contacts in Tuson.

Went in Aug which is no time to visit but needed to help a parent transition home from hospital. This was conveniently located Two miles away. It's very dated but with most essentials. It was dirty upon arrival, dirt toilet with cockroach floating in it and another in the sink on the first morning. Your asked to replace toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap or any other simple conveniences. You must also wash towels and bedding. There is a tobacco issue and the smoke from the neighbors filters through a shared air conditioner or so that seemed the case. Lock box to enter and depart is a pain and takes some extra time. The pool and hot tub we're pleasant. It could really benefit to have housekeeping come after visiting each time to spruce it up and free up the visitor from chores. No, I wouldn't stay again but I appreciated the location.

Decent place weird neighbors

No complaints about the place besides the odd smell. Aired out easy. My issue is the neighbors. The put a fake snake out under a bush when I was moving in. It was 11 pm after a 10 hour drive. The neighbor video taped me noticing and acting scared of the snake, then showed it to his friends. Not cool at all!!!

Hi Elizabeth, I want to address your concerns about the fake snake you mentioned in your review. I was able to find out who put the fake snake out. Apparently, he put the fake snake out years ago to help ward off the Javelinas that occasionally come through there. It works so he has always kept it there. So, to ease your mind, it was not intended to scare you. This same neighbor has a security camera on his property. It has been on 24/7 for years. so, to ease your mind again, he wasn't trying to spy on anyone, it's there to keep his property under surveillance, much like the ring cameras that a lot of people have. I was however concerned that he showed it to someone else. Apparently, his mother lives next door to him and he shared it with her. She must have mentioned it to another neighbor. I did let him know that you were not happy about the incident. I am sorry that you felt uncomfortable and even scared and that he told his mother about it. We take each review seriously and try to address any concerns a guest may have. Hopefully this explains the reason for the snake and to assure you it was not put there to intentionally play a prank on any of our guests. I am afraid of snakes, and I would have been scared too if I had seen it (fake or not). I did share your concerns and hopefully, moving forward, he will be more aware of how others may feel about the snake and security camera. A little southwest paradise central to everything you need

Charming midcentury Southwest Architecture with mature landscaping. I loved the different courtyards and meeting the neighbors who live there as I would stroll through. Very friendly and the pool sees a lot of use even after the snowbirds have flown away. Awesome host too! Thanks Renee!
