Short stay in a beautiful villa

Elaine was a fantastic host and her property was brilliant. It was pristine and great for a fun trip in the sun. Close to local stores and restaurants, there is plenty of choice and Elaine was always on hand to answer our questions and provide us with recommendations. Great place.

Great property

Lovely property, spotlessly clean. All the equipment you could need for a great holiday. Pool inflatables were appreciated by the children. Added bonus of Pirata restaurant and bar just around the corner. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Ideally located, clean modern villa

Clean, well equipped villa. Recommend paying to heat the pool, especially with children who want to swim all day long! Quiet air con, perfect for warmer nights. Ideal location - quiet residential spot with a couple of friendly restaurants within 5 mins walk, as well as a handy Spar shop just a few minutes walk away. A wide range of bars and restaurants at the marina only 20 mins walk, or 20 mins in the opposite direction is the beautiful Old Village. Locals were all friendly and welcoming, especially towards our young family. Owner offered some great recommendations in the area, our children loved the Villamoura train ride!

Modern clean villa

A very clean and modern villa that was perfect for our mid-term break in Vilamoura. 3 good rooms all ensuite with very comfortable beds. Pool are was very cool with bbq area, dining area, chill out sofa and lots of sun beds. Make sure you pay the extra for heating the pool in autumn and winter months, it's well worth it. The living area is beautiful with an open plan design and all modern furnishings. A lovely neighbourhood that is only 20 minutes walk to the marina. Only downside the barking dog across the road that kept going to midnight :) Brilliant villa!!

We live in Northumberland with our 2 older children and 3 dogs and have holiday cottages on the Northumberland Coast (Coastal Cottages Northumberland) . We bought Villa Matilde in 2019 after spending many years holidaying in Portugal with a view to (eventually) retiring in Portugal.
