Very comfortable, cosy, well appointed stay in a quiet, historic area of old Brugge. Close to high street shopping and supermarket. Beautiful private courtyard at the rear of the property. A beautiful bunch of roses to enjoy. Spacious, sunny, beautiful bathroom with a big bath and great shower.

This property is by far the most beautifully designed and presented property I have experienced while traveling. Barbara has a eye for detail and exquisite taste and is a gracious and kind hostess. From the delicious homemade raspberry jam to the bottles of water to the elegant flatware , the property makes you feel at home. The location is extremely convenient to visiting beautiful historic Brugge. I recommend this with hesitation.

The location is excellent, quiet but close to everything. Barbara is communicative, helpful and friendly. The house is impeccably decorated with all the comforts. We’re only sorry we didn’t stay in Bruges longer, in part because the accommodation was perfect for us.

Beautiful Bruges

We loved Bruges and Axelle’s house was just perfect. It was very well located, easy walking distance from everything. The house was very clean, charming and beautifully decorated.The owners were very welcoming and gave helpful suggestions about restaurants and events. Could not have been better!

This townhouse was extraordinary in every way: it was perfectly located for walking throughout Brugge; it was gorgeously furnished; our elegant host, Barbara, met us at the front door an gave us a tour of the property, which includes a delightful little private patio off the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks; beautiful tub/shower upstairs an downstairs loo - everything a pair of travelling old friends might require!Thank you, Barbara,for making our trip to Brugge particularly lovely!!Denise & Shelley

Beautiful Bruges

Our stay in Bruges was totally enhanced by the beautiful accomodation. Plenty of space spread over three floors provided privacy, yet it had a very cozy feel due to the design and decor. There is also a lovely courtyard.

Amazing stay

Our stay was amazing! The location was amazing, the house was so cute! All the beautiful details were so lovely and well thought out. The stairs were definitely tricky with the bags but luckily I had read in another review to expect them. Loved the use of the fireplace! Mare it so cozy after a cold day of wandering the city. Plus the family who own this place were so helpful, promote and so kind. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely House in Bruges

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Comfortable furnishings, everything you need is there. Ideal starting point for exploring the whole city by foot. The welcome from Barbara was very warm and we felt welcome. We recommend this house and hope to come back one time.

Lovely house in the middle of Bruges

We spent a few days in the house, which is absolutely perfect for a stay in Bruges. The interior style is very tasteful, perfectly suited to the very old house, but nevertheless modern. It is fully equipped and is situated very centrally, so you can easily explore Bruges on foot from there. There are car parks in the immediate vicinity (we had pre-booked the t'Zand car park. Its level C2 entrance/exit is 3 minutes from the house).The landlords are extremely nice and courteous, and dealing with them is very straightforward. An absolute recommendation!

Beautiful home in Bruges

Our host Barbara was at this beautiful home to greet us when we arrived. She was so helpful, sharing names of favorite restaurants, chocolate shops, and various sites to see. This incredibly beautifully decorated house is in the perfect location to walk all around Bruges. We loved our stay here!

A wonderful christmas stay

A very comfortable and well equipped apartment with a small but good kitchen, comfortable beds and living room! We loved our Christmas stay and fixed a huge Christmas meal. Location is very convenient to exploring Bruge! Barbara was always available to help as we need to oven pans to cook our Christmas dinner in.

“The Holiday” Cottage!

This charming cottage was right out of the Christmas movie “The Holiday.” Each little touch was more magical than the next. I loved the traditional decor and the typical Bruges loft with narrow staircases. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was immaculate! The location could not have been better… Five minute walk to all of the action, but far enough away for quiet evenings and mornings. I would highly recommend staying here while touring the beautiful and medieval city of Bruges.

Beautiful accommodation, kind host

We were lucky to spend a few days in this lovely house right in the heart of Bruges. Everything was within walking distance, yet the accommodation itself was quiet. The town is gorgeous of course, and this house fits right in. We had plenty of space, lovingly decorated, very clean, simply dreamy. We met our host Barbara for check-in and she was incredibly friendly, too. We felt very welcomed and at home. We would readily stay here again.

The home is lovely with very comfortable beds! Nice little terrace for morning coffee. Great location for easy walk to city center and market place. Be aware of steep stairs to bedrooms. Communication with Barbara was seamless. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely historic dwelling

The location of this house is perfect....minutes away from the heart of Brugge. The home is lovely and quaint. I recommend warm lounging clothes or robe as there are some drafts downstairs, but the radiators worked well and we slept very well in comfort. Our hostess allowed us to check our luggage in earlier and that was very kind and gave us a head start on our sightseeing. There is lots to see in Brugge and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Accommodation

What a wonderful experience starting at check-in with Barbara The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Bruges. Close to and walking distance to everything in Bruges town center, including attractions, restaurants, shopping, and transportation. We even walked from the train station. Highly recommend as this was the best place we stayed during our nine days traveling around Belgium, Luxembourg, and Amsterdam. Would love to come back and stay longer.

charming rental in Bruges, Belgium

We loved our stay at this pretty rental (3 nights in August 2017). It was beautifully furnished, had a nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a comfortable marble full bath and handy powder room, lovely living spaces inside and a sweet little garden space with a table that was fun to use when not eating out. The owner shared ideas with us of some of her favorite dining spots (which became our favorites too)! Thank you Barbara for sharing this lovely house with us! I would be happy to recommend it to others!
