Great stay with great location

We loved having a coffee shop right below us. The short 1 block walk to the statues, museums, Duomo, and plethora of shops and restaurants was wonderful! Beds were comfortable, nice space, and great hosts! Highly recommend!

Perfect location!

Florence Comfort

Beautiful apartment, centrally located. Had everything we needed and we loved the close walks to the best of Florence. We had 3 adults and 2 teens and were very comfortable.

Best location, spacious place!

First time in Florence but location cannot be beat. Steps from one of the world’s best sandwich shops, steps from the Uffizi, this is A+ location. The place was spacious and the nine flights of stairs was great exercise! Instructions were simple and easy to follow and while we were there, Alessandro was easy to be in touch with. All in all, a great place to stay in Florence!

Fantastic apartment in old florence

The apartment was absolutely perfect. The location cannot be beat, steps away from everything you will want to see in Florence. The apartment is spacious, has everything you would need, and the host is wonderful. The café down stairs was a wonderful place to get a cappuccino and breakfast to eat in the lovely kitchen. Great Spot!!

Apartment had everything we needed and was in a great location. View of Pitti Palace from both bedrooms. Quiet at night despite being near a busy location. Lots of food and shopping options right outside. Easy and friendly communication with owner. Only drawback was all the stairs, but we didn’t mind the exercise for the top floor view.

Fantastic

This is a wonderful apartment in the center of the city - a traditional apartment that has been beautifully renovated. From my bed I even had a view on the tower of Palazzo Vecchio. Perfect!

Great for family of 4

2 bedrooms and a toilet room, plus a separate shower room made for a great stay. Excellent washing machine that was larger than most apartment sized washers was a bonus. The AC was great! Spacious apartment a short walk to the Duomo, or the Arno depending on which direction you choose to go. Yes there are 4 flights of stairs but we got used to it by the 3rd day :-)

Awesome Stay

The location was close to everything. The apartment was clean and there was plenty of space for everyone to not be on top of eachother. Appreciated the large drying rack and hamper when taking the clothes out of the washer. Some of the bedrooms had power strips, which was a great help. The little things make a huge difference. Be prepared to walk up ALOT of stairs. The shower was a little small. It did get a little noisy at night but that’s the trade off for an amazing location.

Great apartment, amazing location

The location of this apartment is absolutely fantastic - can't be beat. It's right in the heart of many of the main sights. (close enough to so many things that we could go back in between visiting places to rest/go to the bathroom/etc.).Only downside is that it can be a tad bit noisy at night when you're trying to sleep, but we adjusted. Also close to the river. The rooms are spacious and easily accommodated our family of five. The kitchen is also good size, allowing us to cook a few of our own meals. Even though it's only 1 bathroom, it was nice having the toilet separated from the shower/sink area. Be ready to walk a lot of stairs though, as it's the top floor (4th floor?) and there's no elevator. All in all, a great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Terrific location ... but lots of steps and noise

This spacious and bright property is in an excellent location -- but it can also be noisy at night (blasting music, loud pedestrians). Plenty of hot water in the small shower; adjustable thermostat and ceiling fans. The unit does NOT contain a dryer although it is advertised as having one -- the listing should be corrected. I've notified Vrbo about this inaccuracy. The kitchen should be better equipped -- there were no paper towels, no napkins, no foil or cling wrap, and not even a paper clip or rubber band. Most important, you'll have to haul your luggage (and yourself) up four substantial flights of stone stairs, so this isn't the unit for you if you have small children or aren't in good shape. Host was responsive and accommodating.

The property is in an excellent location and short walk for all the sites! The beds were very comfortable and it was handy to have a washing machine available. Although we arrived within the check in window, we had to wait 30 minutes while double parked for someone to meet us and let us in, because they were meeting another client at the time of our arrival. The property was clean for the most part but could use a good dusting; I reached behind the nightstand to plug in our phone charger and there were lots of dust bunnies. Additionally the curtains could use a cleaning. Alessandro and Monica did communicate very well and likely would have remedied any concerns during our stay but we didn’t want them to come dust and clean since that would kick up more dust on our belongings. The final comment I would share is on us as Americans; it’s a 3rd floor walk-up with no elevator. In the U.S., that would typically mean approximately 36 stairs, however it’s actually 81 steps carrying luggage.

Terrific Firenze opportunity.

Great Location

We loved our stay in Florence. This apartment is located close to shopping, restaurants, and the beautiful Florence bridge. We were able to walk from the train station and the apartment was clean and comfortable my family of six had a great time here!

The reason for all this travel is my job in the airline industry. After many years assisting major airline carriers, I have settled down and am currently managing a regional airline carrier based in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.

I enjoy traveling around the world and creating new experiences. Thanks to my job I have had the privilege of visiting most continents and countries around the globe. Through these travels, I have been fortunate to learn what a good Airbnb experience (and host) looks like since im not much of a hotel fan myself. A great home, with a friendly host, in an awesome neighborhood and the ability to discover new things in a new place & environment! Wow! What else can you ask for in life?
