Great location

Everything was close by and within walking distance. The apartment was clean and the parking garage was convenient since on the street parking wasn’t always available.

Excellent location

The apartment was clean and well located. It allowed for fast access to the boardwalk, the beach, and was only a short drive to the major grocery store if the small store on the corner didn't have what you were looking for. The bedrooms back on to the road, which can be noisy at night, but it is completely silent with the shutters closed. The main balcony overlooked the courtyard of the buildings which have well tended gardens and also give you an opportunity to lean out and check how busy the pool is. The pool is a good size but better for cooling off and light swimming than it is for laps. Not a complaint at all but it may be important to some. This note is for North American guests: Like most parking in Portugal, the underground parking is pretty tight. I advise getting a vehicle with surround view or a back-up camera to make your life easier. There are several excellent restaurants in the immediate area (5 minutes walking) that cater to a wide variety of tastes. On the whole our stay was great thanks to outstanding efforts from Mike and Marina to address a major issue. We can't thank them enough for their tireless efforts. Overall an excellent place to spend a couple of weeks as a home base for your adventures in the Algarve.

This was our second stay at this property and it continues to be an excellent place to vacation in the Algarve. With everything you need close at hand it allows you to choose how you wish to vacation, either stay close and take part in what Cabanas has to offer or range widely and explore the south of Portugal.

A limpeza da propriedade no check-in foi nota 0, tanto que comunicámos com a proprietária e de imediato se tentou resolver a situação, não deixando de ser desagradavél. A piscina, pequena para tanta gente, e as cadeiras sempre ocupadas ( de um dia para o outro) apesar do sinal de que não se podia fazer isso...

Schöne, großzügige Wohnung

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist schön groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Auch die Anlage hat uns gut gefallen. Der Pool war super, besonders für die Kinder Dank des flachen Einstiegs. Im Juni war es dort auch nie besonders voll. Die Lage der Wohnung ist prinzipiell gut. Ein Supermarkt ist sehr nah dran und ins kleine Zentrum von Cabanas läuft man 5 Minuten. Zur Abfahrt des Boot-Shuttle zum Strand 10 Minuten. Was uns gestört hat war die Ausrichtung der Schlafzimmer zur Straße hin. Leider gab es einige Idioten, die nachts mit ihren Motorrädern immer vorbei gerast sind. Da standen sogar die Kinder senkrecht im Bett. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war einwandfrei. Bei Fragen oder Problemen hat sie sich sofort gemeldet bzw ist sogar vorbei gekommen. Grundsätzlich kann man die Wohnung also gut empfehlen.

A recommendation

The apartment is modern and equipped with the necessary. In case of queries, the landlord responds immediately. The beach, restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Everything was as described. At night, the location of the bedrooms to the street was a little disturbing for us.

O apartamento está bem estimado, limpo, com uma decoração agradável, e com um muito nível bom de equipamento. A localização é numa zona tranquila, e muito bem localizado com fácil e rápido acesso a supermercado, farmácia, restaurantes, cafés, passadiço, etc. A gestora foi super prestável e fléxivel, e correu tudo muito bem.

A propriedade é boa, confortável, com boa localização em função das necessidades dos locatários; para nós era importante um pequeno tanque na varanda para lavagem à mão, bem como um guarda sol para potenciar as refeições na mesma, não bastando ter uma mesa para o efeito; a mudança da roupa de cama e toalhas intercalar devia ser previamente combinada com os usuários e não intrusiva; o não cumprimento de algo estabelecido no anúncio devido à Covid, roubou conforto.
