Apartment in Cabanas de Tavira, Eastern Algarve, Portugal - Quiet Area, But Just 400 Mts Walk To Beach And Boulevard. Close To Train & Bus.
Quinta Velha is situated on the middle of Cabanas village, with the village of Conceicao and Benamor golf course a 5 minute walk inland. The air-conditioned top floor apartment has a bedroom (2 persons), a large living/dining room with a double sofa bed (2 persons), a sun terrace and secure parking. There are two good restaurants around the apartmentbuilding and a bar around the swimmingpool. Cabanas is a fishing village and beach resort in the unspoilt Eastern Algarve just 4kms from the historic town of Tavira. The area boasts numerous blue flag beaches which are accessed via water taxi, ferry or land train (Cabanas included), all have white sand clear water and plenty of space. The village has numerous restaurants and snack bars together with all the amenities you would expect: supermarkets, ATMs etc. Transport links are excellent with the train station and bus stops just a 2 minute walk. There are a further 4 golf courses within 20mins drive. Part of Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, the area is of interest to walkers, birdwatchers etc.

Apartment has all electric tools, washmachine, dish washer, microwave, oven, fridge en freezer and other little things.
There are also kitchen, bath en bedroom towels and a hair dryer. There is an elevator in the building.

This spot in the Cabanas was ideal and a real treat for my spouse,who did not have any idea what to expect other than a some pictures I had shown her. This room was a top floor room and the view also exceptional, the comfort level was much appreciated due to the climate and quite area near the coast. It's had easy access to amenities and walking distance for groceries or other needs while staying here. If you are looking for peace and quiet, look no further, you will not have to, this mostly renovated apartment is set, bathroom could get a little TLC but you can make it work. Five stars for my time here, and only wish I had booked more time.Thank yoy Natalie.

A quaint gem

We loved our 10 day stay in Cabanas. The condo was quiet, bright, and spacious. The best thing about this apartment is the rooftop patio. It’s massive, private, and has a great view. The apartment was well stocked with cooking ingredients, but we had to buy laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. Our host was great to work with. We would definitely choose to stay there again.

We visit Cabanas every December to visit friends who live here. This apartment met our every need. Fabulous location. Close to train station, 10 minute walk to restaurants, beach, bars and local shops. Apartment great size for two. The terrace was amazing, sea views and large enough to accommodate a large gathering. Our friends are going to recommend the apartment to other visitors who are planning on visiting Cabanas.

Lovely Apartment

This apartment has a lovely large terrace with dining area and relaxing furniture.The apartment is clean and although the kitchen area is small it has everything you need.The pool within the complex is a good sized and no problem getting sunbeds and parasol a nice relaxing area.Position is excellent short walk to some good restaurants and a 10 minute stroll to Cabanas promenade and ferry boats to the amazing beach.The only improvement could be to the air conditioning which isn't brilliant. If you have someone staying on the sofa bed and shut the bedroom door a fan is needed which was not a available so we went and purchased one. (We left it in the apartment and hope others will find it beneficial)A very relaxing enjoyable stay would return.

Rest and Relaxation

Having just moved house in the UK within the past 4 weeks with all the stress and strain that brings with it, it was a godsend to be able to come and stay once again at Nathalie and Filipe’s apartment. The Eastern Algarve is great for total rest and relaxation. Cabanas is a charming village with plenty to offer in terms of dining and bars for those self catering. The apartment has everything you need and its location to the sea front amenities, beach and railway station is ideal. The huge terrace is great and the swimming pool is much improved now with the addition of very pleasant attendants, who also clean the pool at regulator intervals. Plenty of local walks nearby. We shall be back.

It's Great, Just Book it

Really nice apartment in a lovely setting. The apartment is a good size, bright, airy and tastefully decorated. The balcony is fantastic, large, nice view over the village towards the sea and it's kitted out with a good range of quality, strong furniture. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance (5 or 10 minutes). Many of the bars take cash only so bear that in mind. The village itself, at the time of reviewing is unspoilt by the Stag and Hen do's which have ruined parts of Portugal including Albufeira Old Town. We are very likely to book this apartment again.

Fantastic stay

This apartment was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It's in a nice quiet area with plenty of free parking around it. The roof terrace is fabulous, it's large and gets the sun all day and is equipped with loungers, table and chairs and a sofa. Great view over the town to the sea. Its only limitation is the size of the kitchen, which is a little challenging but we managed using the table as a worktop. It's an easy walk to the seafront and there's a Spar down the road but its not that well stocked and is pricey. So if you have a car I'd recommend driving the short distance to the many big supermarkets within a 10 or 15 minute drive.It wasnt that easy to find so we ended up meeting Nathalie at the nearby cafe bar.Would happily return and very happy to recommend.
