Dunkerron holiday homes are part of the demense of Dunkerron castle, the original 13th century stronghold of the O'Sullivan Mor family. Kenmare is a cosmopolitan town hosting superb restaurants, craft shops, art galleries and public houses.

It makes an ideal base for touring the ring of Kerry, Beara Peninsula and the Skellig Islands to name but a few. Guests can enjoy the Leisure facilities at the nearby Kenmare Bay Hotel between 12 noon - 4pm. Cost is €9.50 for adults and €5.50 for children. Must be pre-booked.

Kenmare

The property was warm and comfortable and in a quiet location about a mile and a half outside of Kenmare. Not really walkable because the road was busy and there was no path. We had a problem with internet connectivity which was sorted straight away. The property was airy and neutral in decor, but could do with touching up in places. On the whole it was perfect for our needs and I would definitely use it again.

Großzügiges Haus für die ganze Familie

Wir fanden ein großes Haus vor, in dem wir mit der 5-köpfigen Familie viel Platz hatten. Die Terrasse und der Garten bot viel Raum für schöne Sonnentage, die Hecken grenzen gut zu den Nachbarhäusern ab und auch bei Regentagen konnte in der großzügigen Wohnküche gespielt, gelesen und TV gesehen werden. Die Umgebung rund um Kenmare mit dem Ring of Kerry bietet Strände, Kleinstädte und Wandermöglichkeiten. Absolut zu empfehlen für eine Familie oder Gruppe mit Auto.
