About this property

Magnificent Provencal Bastide with 14m long pool in mature private garden.

This ancient, stone "Pigeonniere" offers a very spacious living area of over 200 square meters. Renovated with authentic provencal design and quality, the comfortable open-space sitting room leads into a dining area, with French doors opening out to the back garden.
The charming kitchen is very well-equipped with all modern conveniences.
There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main house. There is a further small apartment with bedroom with bathroom accessed separately at the top of the house. All towels and linens are provided and you will not be disappointed with the quality of the furnishings.
The mature garden of over one acre is very private, with a pool that measures 12 meters in length (not including the area of the pool that goes under the terrace - an additional 2 meters and is approximately 2 meters deep at the deep end. There is a gas barbecue and an area to play boules ("petanque") The area around the pool is mostly sunny all day and the terrace is mostly shady.
Cotignac is a charming, bustling village with a lively Tuesday market. Extremely picturesque, it was voted "one of the most beautiful villages in France" in 2024.

We had a very pleasant 1 week stay with 2 families of five (including 6 children between 4-10y). In addition to hanging-at-the-pool days, we also did some trips to Cotignac and the Cote-d'-Azur to enjoy sand&sea!We experiences some troubles with the pool-alarm (went off irregularly), but gardener came to fix it.

Magnifique maison de style provençal avec toutes les commoditĂ©s, rien ne manquait.Bien situĂ©e pour dĂ©couvrir les trĂšs beaux villages environnants en voiture et en vĂ©lo (superbes routes de vĂ©lo aux alentours). Le terrain est grand et bien amĂ©nagĂ© avec plusieurs espĂšces d’arbres, plantes et plusieurs terrasses bien ombragĂ©es qui permettent Ă  chacun d’y trouver de l’intimitĂ©. La piscine est trĂšs belle, de bonne dimension et bien entretenue. Nous y avons passĂ© de trĂšs belles vacances et nous la recommandons fortement.

Perfect holiday with friends!

We were two families travelling together. The house was perfect for us! The two teenagers had a great time in the "studio". The best thing about the house is definitely the pool area, with a part of the pool in the shade. Thank you very much!

Amazing villa

This place is unbelievable! We stayed as eight couples with two young babies and were so comfortable. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, perfectly clean, with the most amazing swimming pool. The place was fully-equipped so we were able to make dinner easily every night and enjoy the gardens. Cotignac is just 5 minutes away by car and there were multiple vineyards and natural attractions ten minutes away. We’ll be back next year!

wundervolles Haus in schöner Gegend

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Pool ist natĂŒrlich der prĂ€gende Teil des Hauses, unsere Kinder waren begeistert. Aber auch die Lage bei Cotignac und die Ausstattung des Hauses hat uns sehr gefallen. Einziges kleines Manko, ist die fehlende TĂŒr des unteren Schlafzimmers (nur durch Vorhang zum benachbarten Schlafraum getrennt). Aber auch das lies sich Lösen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter! :)
