Nice place

Very good stay. The owner was extremely easy to contact and very quick to deal with. When my plans changed she was very responsive and accommodating.The unit was clean, well furnished and a great value. The heated garage was a great extra as most condos in Steamboat don’t have them. My six week stay was made very comfortable by having this unit.

Fabulous property

The photos do not do this property justice. All the rooms are large with comfortable furniture. Master bed is very comfortable. The unit has everything one needs. The attached garage was convenient to the kitchen. We most enjoyed the patio with the sounds of the creek.

Spacious home mins from the mountain!

My partner and I stayed for 3 months this winter. We loved the home - it was well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable. The garage is connected to the unit, which is a big pro during the winter storms. Laura was very communicative and helpful as well. When we had an issue with the dishwasher, she had someone come fix it that day. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice

I stayed in this great creek side condo in July 2017 and January 2016. It is super clean, very well stocked and the owner is extremely responsive. In the winter there is a great fireplace which makes the living room so cozy. In the summer, it’s great to hear and see the babbling Burgess Creek right outside both bedroom windows and from the balcony. The bedrooms are spacious and have a ton of closet space for storage (much more than what we needed). The location is away from all the tourist traffic and is a quite and peaceful getaway. You really can’t go wrong with this town home - winter or summer.

Super cozy condo that was well appointed

My husband and I headed up to the mountains to celebrate his birthday and found this little gem to stay at. Since I owned a housecleaning company for over a decade, I was wildly impressed with the level of cleanliness inside the property, so much so I felt compelled to write a review. While we were there we cooked up a storm in a very nice kitchen, and on one of the rainy days started up a fire in the fire place. The deck offered lovely afternoon light and a great place to have a glass of wine. Everything in the condo worked well and we will be going back for certain! p.s. We did have a fabulous autumn day on the ski mountain playing their disk golf course. Highly recommend.

Winter Season in Steamboat

I completed a BIG item on my bucket list - being a ski bum for a season. My adult daughter and I spent 5 full months in the condo during the 2014/2015 winter season, and had a great time. Condo is really well appointed, clean, very livable and we felt at home after just a few days. The property manager is easy to work with and accommodating. The location is beautiful, peaceful and off the beaten path, so you don't get rowdy crowds during the holidays. The drive on Burgess Creek Road in the winter can be tricky. I ended up buying winter tires with my AWD SUV to get up and down the road. My daughter's Prius had all-season tires and she needed chains a few times during the winter.

My wife and I stayed for the month of July. We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The porch and electric grill were great fun. The attached garage and close by covered parking were very convenient. The host/owner, Laura, lives elsewhere but was very responsive to any and all requests we had. The location is both accessible and very relaxing, high in the trees up burgess creek road. She has many appliances, some were not working correctly but she did replaced the toaster when I asked and I was able to fix the blender. There is a problem with the US mail box and she is actively working on it, but we had problems receiving Amazon orders small enough to go into the small mailbox requiring a lengthy visit to the post office. There is no A/C, but the lower level stays cool. We did bring our own box fan and used it quite often. The condo is poorly insulated for sound and we were lucky the people upstairs were not there most of the time as we could hear their every step with or without them wearing shoes. The TVs were not ‘smart’ TVs, so we were stuck watching the limited cable network. Most movie channels and other interesting channels like Netflix, HBO etc. were not available. There was no Blue Ray player. We did use our Chrome cast on the master bedroom TV successfully which helped a lot. Overall a great price for a nice place.

Awesome place!

We really loved our stay here! Laura was amazing to work with and was very helpful! She even upgraded the master bed from a queen to a king while we were there. The location is amazing with lots of walking trails nearby and just above the little base village with shops and restaurants. The unit has not been updated, so don't expect granite countertops, but it is clean and spacious and comfortable. Really convenient with the attached garage and an additional parking space under the carport. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Like you said, it may not have the latest and greatest as far as granite etc goes, but it is spotlessly clean, and that is the most important thing in my mind. I NEVER would have slept on sheets that were not mine until I washed them first, but I slept on these because everything in the entire condo is so clean."

Lovely Place in a Lovely Town

We had a wonderful stay in Steamboat at Laura's apartment. All the appropriate amenities, spacious and comfortable. Friendly neighbours and peaceful with a beautiful stream running past the balcony. There are many walks available fromt he property onto the mountain. We had a great time. Laura as a host makes herself available if there are any issues that need addressing. We reccommend her place. A wonderful retreat space

What a perfect retreat space! I was in Steamboat, by myself, for 9 days as I needed time for reflection and to focus on some work projects. I had a cozy time and felt at home at this lovely condo (I want to come back in the winter). The condo was quiet, very clean, and super close to town, yet it felt like it does when you're deep in the mountains, where it's quiet and settled. Trails were also close by. I had such a sweet trip and wonderful stay here.

Quiet, private and comfortable condo

I rented this condo for a year. Couldn't have been happier. The interior is clean and comfortable. New carpet and flooring, and the bathrooms were remodeled. You can't hear the neighbors, and there is barely any noise from the road across the creek, just the creek running during spring. The furniture was in great shape. The top floor is an open plan living room to dining room. The kitchen is separated by a bar you can sit at. It's great for socializing. In the fireplace there's a working wood stove with a glass front panel that still gives the feeling of having a fire, plus it heats the place wonderfully. I found it difficult to find a condo with an attached garage, which this place has plus a covered parking spot. The landlord is friendly and easy to deal with. It's not on the bus route, but the ski parking and bus to town is not far down the road. The view is of the small creek valley. It's not sweeping view, but it's scenic and green. I saw moose and bear from the patio. Plus you're not looking at other buildings, and no one is looking in at you. I would definitely recommend this property. I only left because I moved out of town.

Home away from home

This is one of the most amazing places we've stayed at!! So comfortable and relaxing. My son and I stayed here for 2 winter season for 6 months each. I felt right at home. The owner is amazing! Very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. Very clean place, nice furnishings. Highly recommended staying here.

Loved the place!

Had such a pleasant time hanging out and cooking, sitting in the late warm September sun on the deck. Clean as a whistle--and my wife used to own a housecleaning business! Saw both a bear and a moose on the road up to the condo. Different times, but c'mon, that's Alaska stuff. There's a disc golf course at the top of the road where you pick up the ski lift. (So gorgeous.) Basically, I want to see every season in that place.
