Los Granados de la Duquesa is a luxury development located in the old village of El Castillo and a stone throw from la Duquesa marina. Its prime front line beach location and extensive gardens makes it a beautiful and peaceful place for holidays. A stone throw from Puerto de la Duquesa, Los Granados de la Duquesa has everything anyone wishes for. With direct access to the blue flag beach, the accommodation enjoys a large lagoon style swimming pool set in landscaped gardens overlooking the Mediterranean.

Our two bedroom front line beach apartment is larger than average, appointed to very high standards and within a secure gated development. Its south west facing position with a terrace overlooking the beach makes it a popular place to stay. It has also two bathrooms, one en-suite, a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious living room opening onto the sunny terrace. There is air conditioning/heating, 24 hours security service, two communal swimming pools, private WIFI, underground parking space and direct access to the beach.

La Duquesa golf and country club is across the road and Puerto de la Duquesa with its quality restaurants and bars as well as its yacht harbour only a short stroll away.

The apartment is ideal for families, couples, golfers and is also wheelchair friendly.

A lovely apartment, but we would never use Costa Holidays again.
The sea view from the balcony. We stayed in 1221 for almost three months arriving late afternoon on a December Sunday. The apartment did not have any provisions, which was not unexpected, but the cooking equipment was inadequate. Some was very dirty. The major problems we had were with the heating and electricity supply. Arriving a week before Christmas there was no heating, although Costa Holidays told us it had been tested two days prior to our arrival. They provided two oil filled radiators, but it took 5 days for an engineer to arrive. The heating then worked, to a small degree, but only in the lounge, not in the bedrooms which were cold. In winter it is unacceptable for the electricity supply to trip 18 times, as it did on Christmas Day. We think that Costa Holidays upgraded the tariff but the power continued to trip from time to time, often at 10.30 am when there was minimal loading. Our package included English TV and we were pleased to have a large Plasma TV. On 12th February it stopped working and would not power up. By 5pm Costa Holidays had sent a small replacement and said a mechanic would come to carry out repairs. On the 16th February we asked for anand were told it would be chased and we would be advised the next day. When we left to come home on March 9th nothing further had happened. Finally, it was necessary for us to ask for extra bed linen as there was only one sheet large enough for the double bed.
