Porta Romana, a neighbourhood in Milan, is home to this apartment. Cathedral of Milan and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II are notable landmarks, and travellers looking to shop may want to visit Via Montenapoleone Fashion District and Corso Buenos Aires. We booked for 3 nights. It looked really nice online, but there was mold in the shower, and lots of buildup on the shower head. My spouse refused to even use it! Also there is a large tear in the red sofa. There are no shelves or hanging space to store your clothing. (There was closet with a very tiny shelf, but it was filled with a ladder and other supplies) Some of the walls were pretty beat up an could use a paint refresh. We couldn't use the stove because there was no lighter to light the gas range. (Yes, we could have bought one, but really?)
We forfeited a night and booked a hotel near the airport for our last night.
If these issues get addressed, it could be a great space. It's large with lots of light. The courtyard is full of greenery. Close to very good restuarants, pastry shops and tram and metro lines. Very easy to get around, and the neighborhood is quiet.
