Convenient to Acropolis and museum.

Apartment was clean and decorated nice. Neighborhood was just ok. Acropolis was farther than stated on VRBO. There were no restaurants near. Just a small market store across the street.

Great apartment rental, Neighborhood interesting

The apartment was great, the host was very accommodating and professional. However the neighborhood was interesting, there is open drug use in the area, and prostitution. Most of the activity is isolated to the night. So we only walk around the area during the day, and took the taxi to our points of interest from our door steps. But the building is secure safe and provides a location that acts as a base for your visit because it is kind of central in the city.

Apartment great, location disapointing.

Property clean and comfortable although outside area noisy into the late night early morning. Neighborhood is sketchy. When we told our tour guide where to pick us up we were told this was a not so good area and there were much safer places to stay. To reach the Subway (roughly 6 - 8 blocks away) we walked past street folks we saw shooting up drugs and prostitution taking place. NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED. CERTAINLY A SAFETY ISSUE.

VRBO was exactly as advertised - we were able to use it as a base to see the highlights of Athens - building was secure and we felt safe. Air conditioning worked well - kitchen was well appointed
