Welcome to SQ1, a neat and quiet apartment offering beautiful views of the Acropolis.

The apartment features two bedrooms:
• One with a king-size bed that can be arranged as two singles
• One with a dedicated queen-size bed
An additional guest can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room.

Amenities include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen.

SQ1 is located on the 4th floor and is accessible by elevator.
Located in Psirri (also spelled Psiri or Psyrri), one of central Athens’ most lively and historic neighbourhoods, the apartment offers a unique blend of tradition and modern flair. Once home to leather workshops, candle makers, and other artisans, Psirri now features traditional crafts alongside a vibrant mix of tavernas, bars, and contemporary eateries. The area is also known for its bold street art and neoclassical charm.

Just minutes from Monastiraki metro station—with direct connections to Athens Airport and Piraeus Port—Psirri borders the Plaka district, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.

We are happy to offer flexible check-in and check-out times, subject to apartment availability. Please note that the official check-in time is by 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

Late check in
For arrivals between 21:00 and 09:00, we recommend using our trusted taxi service for airport pickup and apartment check-in. Fares up to 23:00 are €45 for a standard taxi and €90 for a minivan, payable directly to the driver. (Different rates apply after 23:00 and for port transfers.)

Alternatively, if you make your own way to the apartment, a member of our staff will meet you there. Please note that a late check-in fee of €20 is payable upon arrival.

Great location - walk to everything!

We arranged transportation through the hosts, and were met at the door by Costa, who helped us up with our luggage and showed us how everything works. Both bedrooms were spacious, and we had everything we needed. The best part is how close to wonderful restaurants and nightlife the flat is, as well as the beautiful view of the Acropolis. Would definitely stay here again!

Great home base

Good home base for exploring Athens. The apartment had all the necessities: comfortable beds, hot shower and the pleasant surprise of a clothes washer. Building itself was a little run down, but the area felt safe enough. Walking distance to everything! Easy access to bus and tram. Host arrived to greet us and was very helpful in touring the property and orienting us to the neighborhood.

great athens stay

this apartment is in a great location to see old athens, with fairly priced excellent food and shopping. i could not have found a better place in the old city. the apartment is very clean with very comfortable beds and a nice view of the acropolis. it is also well stocked w/ kitchen dishes and linen. would definately stay here again.

In the center of Psyri and all the fun!

Fantastic two-bedroom with a view of the Acropolis from the balcony! Located in where-it's-happening neighborhood of Psyri--plenty to see and do, easy access to the ancient sites as well as the coolest restaurants and bars in Athens. If you get a chance, stay here instead!

amazing place, amazing location

the property was perfect for us, two couples. It was clean, spacious and we had everything we needed. the location was awesome as everything is so close - all sorts of restaurants, bars, hangouts, convenience stores really close by (literally downstairs and within less than a block from the building). The balcony has a lovely view of the acropolis, you can't beat that! I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Athens. The hosts were also very prompt with communication. Loved our stay!

Winter Family Trip to Athens

We stayed here in Athens for four nights and it was just as described/expected! It was nice that Jacob met us there when we arrived to run through things. There is a washer, but no dryer- which seemed pretty common- just for future renters to be prepared! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Incredible stay!!

This was our first Vrbo abroad. The listing definitely showed how awesome the property was. We had a great view. The place was very clean. Very updated. Very convenient location to restaurants, shops, coffee house and bakery. All within walking distance. Communication with the property manager was the best ! Had an incredible time, Thank you.!!

Very nice view of the acropolis

The appartment was as expected. Clean and beds very comfy. There was an issue with hot water but was fixed very rapidly. The shower drain was not draining fast enough so water accumulates as you wash. Still had a very nice experience.

Great location!!

The property was roomy and clean with all the amenities. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the aAcropolis every morning with a cup of coffee or the evening with a glass of wine became a ritual. Across the street and1/2 block down you enter an area with a multitude of restaurants. Plaka,Syntagma Square, the Acropolis, and Montasaraki Square are an easy walk. Very quiet at night Sunday through Thursday but I recommend a sleep aide or ear plugs for Friday and Saturday nights. I highly recommend this property.

Pictures don't do it justice

The apartment was better than pictures. The building seemed old at first, but the apartment itself is very modern - Very comfortable, great art, new amenities & can't beat the location to restaurants, metro & all the major attractions. Also the view of the Acropolis from the balcony is way better & closer than the pics. Costas & team very the most accommodating including arranging for transfers, later checkout when our flight got delayed & when we accidentally got the key stuck in the door. You felt the Greek hospitality all along.

Great location! Balcony apartment

The hosts were great! The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location couldn’t be be better. There is a deli, bakery and small grocery on the block and hundreds of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The Acropolis entrance is a 20 minute walk as are many museums. This is a great place to explore Athens. For people traveling with small children; The one thing to note is that there are really high balconies (3/4 stories up). It makes for a great place to hang out and watch the street life- but a dangerous place for a small child. Highly recommend.

Easily a five-star rating!

Spacious, clean apt in a great location. Giannis was very helpful before and after our arrival to get us oriented to the neighborhood. How nice to sleep on crisp, clean sheets our first night there. The listing's picture of the Acropolis is exactly what you will see from your balcony. The kitchen is full-size. There are bars and good restaurants in profusion along Anargiron St, one block away. The local bakery (yum!) and a conveniene store are also very close by. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance, even for us 70+ YO renters. We have stayed at many VRBO properties across Europe over the years and this apt deserves a 5-star rating.

Property Very Clean, Warm and Welcoming !!!

Beds were VERY comfortable. Great Location within walking distance to restaurants, shops, bakery, supermarket and public transportation. Costas kept track of our arrival and was there to greet us in front of the building upon our arrival. He took our luggage, brought it up to the room and explained things in the apartment and where to go nearby. He was top notch. Incredible view !!! Enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee in the morning on the balcony and in the evening on the balcony sipping a glass of wine with a backdrop of the Acropolis illuminated in the background. We have been staying in VRBOs all over the world the past twenty years and this is one that if available would recommend to book without hesitation!!
