About this property

Large family house with a swimming pool, close to blue flag beaches

Large family house with a fantastic adventurous garden, within walking distance of a nature reserve, harbour and blue flag beaches. The house is open plan but with areas that you can take yourself away to for a bit of quiet time. There are bi folding doors on to the decking where there is comfortable outdoor seating and a table tennis table as well as a heated swimming pool.
The house is spacious with 4 big bedrooms. The master bedroom has a big en-suite with bath and walk in shower. Two double bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom with a big bath and walk in shower. The upstairs room with a double bed and bunk beds above. The room sleeps 4 and has its own funky en-suite with a shower.

The garden has a zip line, tree house, trampoline and Astro pitch with a flood light. The pool is saltwater and heated to 26-28 degrees. There are strap lines and climbing apparatus. We have two lovely, friendly cats, jessica and nyla who need to be fed and watered too but very easy. A garden swing is available too.
It is a great place for mountain biking, paddle boarding, windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, kyaking, or just enjoying the Beach. There are numerous cafes within walking distance as well as restaurants, including the famous rick steins fish restaurant.
There is so much to enjoy in the local area from watching the fireworks from the beach or harbour (in the summer) to busting the tank museum or monkey world or playing mini golf on the famous Bournemouth beaches.

Brilliant

Excellent spacious accommodation clean with everything you would need for 3 generations (from nearly 3 years old to 73) seeking a traditional family holiday. Fantastic garden with climbing, football, trampoline and table tennis. Very good communication with host. Beautiful blue flag sandy beach within walking distance. Good eating places from Rick Stein to fish and chips. Overall - BRILLIANT

Outstanding place to stay!

An absolutely amazing place to stay, the house was spotless and extremely relaxing, exactly as stated. The garden was fantastic for the children and relaxing for us! The Communication throughout was brilliant. We would highly recommend and without a doubt we would love to stay there again! Thank you so much!

We are a family of 6, with 4 boys who are very active! We love the area because we are so close to all the things that we enjoy. The boys have learnt to sail, windsurf, paddle board, surf and mountain bike as well as lots of other things.
I walk 5 mins and can be right next to the water doing a HIT class or yoga and then have a lovely swim in the harbour. Magical!
We do have two cats, Nyla and Jessica who need feeding once a day - they look after themselves, coming and going as they please through the cat flap and they like children.

Why they chose this property

The property is great for large families. Downstairs there is a 10 x 5m lounge with an l-shaped sofa facing the Tv, and a more cosy sofa facing the garden and woodburner.
The dining area sits 10 and has a "place on table tennis table" for fun afterwards if it is raining or there is a "full-on" outdoor one in front of the lounge.
There is an agawith a hob in the kitchen as well as a double oven, a wok burner, a microwave and all the mod cons. We have two fridge freezers, as well as a 2 dishwashers. There is a rustic kitchen table with bench seats and chairs which is great for easy dining and breakfasts.
From the kitchen , there is a lovely sun room area with a bar football and a cupboard full of recipe books for avid cooks amongst you.
We have bi-folding doors to open up the downstairs living space onto the garden where there is an outdoor table, seating 10, and a corner sofa to relax and enjoy the garden.
At the end of the garden is a treehouse,a trampoline, a high zip wire, tree swings and strap lines so plenty to keep the children occupied.
We back onto Luscombe nature reserve which is another adventure playground for the children as well as a quick cut through to the harbour.
