“Villa Nina” is located above a beautiful beach with breathtaking sunset views.

“Villa Nina” is located above the beautiful beach of Armenopetra (direct access, 160 stairs) in the beautiful island of Skopelos. It is a very charming villa designed and built by a famous French architect Marc Held who now lives in the island. It has been listed in magazines and published books! Guests enjoy breathtaking sea and sunset views, only 160 stairs away from Armenopetra beach, which can be accessed also by foot or by car.

Villa Nina consists of a traditional Main House and a Guest House, built in 1999-2000.
The Main House includes a large living room and a kitchen/dining area in the ground floor and two spacious master bedrooms in the 1st floor. There is a also a basement floor incl. a garage parking and storage areas.
The Guest House consists of 3 independent guest rooms:
- a double room with a private frontyard and sea view,
- a double room (garden view), which includes also an attic with a small double bed (could sleep a family of 4),
- a small single room with a private bathroom, could sleep inhouse personnel, cleaning ladies or baby sitters, etc).
The villa is ideal for 8-10 people but could also sleep up to 12 people, ideal for families with kids. It has large verandas with dining tables, very pleasant during the summer with sea views.
It includes also a barbecue, table tennis and a basketball hoop.
In addition, the house has a fully-equipped kitchen and a laundry room.
The living room consists of a fire place, two coffee tables, a large TV/Stereo/bookcase , a satellite TV/DVD player, CDs and books are also available (in english french and greek).
Two mobile rooters have been also installed providing free wifi/internet to guests (note that their total capacity is 200 GB/month).
Heating is available in all rooms, air conditioning as well.

The house is 2-3 minutes by stairs to the closest beach, 5-6 minutes by car to the closest village/marina (Elios), 10-15 minutes to Glossa town/port and 30 minutes from main Skopelos port. The closest airport is the one in Skiathos, that is 30 minutes by taxi boat from Glossa.

Grande détente dans un lieu calme au bord de la mer

La maison est idéalement placée, au-dessus de la mer avec un panorama époustouflant. L'accueil et la disponibilité de l'équipe sont exceptionnels. Anthoula est extrêmement réactive. Et le jardinier vous apporte des figues fraîches du jardin. Un vraiment moment en dehors du temps. Nous avons eu du mal à partir.

Unique, beautiful house and location

Architects always speak of "siting", locating and orienting the structure in harmony with the topography, light and spirit of the place. This house is set high up above the beach in the olive groves overlooking calm waters and sunsets, so "siting" in spades! Very private as well. The accommodations are modern but with an older aristocratic villa aesthetic. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, very responsive to all requests. Its location, though, is not for the faint of heart or those with orthopedic issues. The walks to the beach are steep (both stairs and road). Walks to the nearest village are challenging. The mostly unpaved road to the villa is not recommended for large vehicles and ill-prepared drivers, 4WD is best. That said, this is a place you can spend all day relaxing and nourishing the eyes and soul. It's all an adventure so go with the flow. This is an exceptional place and my guests were absolutely smitten. Don't miss it.

Hello, I am Simos, 49 years old, I live and work in Athens, I am married to Ifigenia, with whom we have 2 lovely kids Jason and Ioli, 10 and 7 years old repspectively. My mom Nina, 80 yrs old, has grown up in this island and enjoys the calmeness of this place every year.
My sister Rebecca and myself come to Skopelos every year as well, it's been our favorite place since the year 2000 when this house was built. We all have so happy memories in this house, this is the reason perhaps we were reluctant to rent it in the past. Nevertheless, we have decided to do so in 2020 but due to the covid pandemic the house was not available last year.
In 2021 however, the house will be available for guests and will be managed by my friend Anthoula, teacher from Glossa who stays in the island during the summertime.

Why they chose this property

This property is very charming, picturesque, a unique house indeed; it has been designed and built by a famous French architect Marc Held who lives permanently in the island since 1990s. It is located in the edge of a peninsula with maginificent sea views, south, west and north.
It is ideal for holidays for 6 to 8 adults or 2-3 families with kids.
The Main house can accomodate 4 to 6 persons in the 2 large master bedrooms upstairs and their balconies with fantastic sea views.
The Guest house has 2 independent comfortable guest rooms, which could also sleep 4 to max 6 persons.
There is also a 5th room available in between the 2 guest rooms above which could sleep perhaps 1 more person, ideally inhouse personnel (cleaning lady or a baby sitter).

What makes this property unique

The house is unique mostly thanks to its sea views and beautiful vernadas.
It has also direct access to Armenopetra beach through a staircase (170 stairs). Althought pixturesque and traditional it includes all modern facilities, ie a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, tv, stereo, wifi, air conditions, laundry, washing machine, oven, coffee makers, etc, etc.
